  1. Good Mornin. Got nothing. Don't know a thing about bees. Sorry.
Did pick up a new shiny distraction yesterday. Now all I gotta do is get my youngest grandkid to come out and program the thing and show me how to turn it on and shoot photographs and videos with the thing! Been the same since we got our first Beta Max…..
Have a better, more gooderer day!

  3. That was robbing for sure. When you see bees all around the hive trying to get in that is robbing, whether you see much fighting or not. I would shake those remaining bees into the other hive and remove the empty box. The remaining box seemed pretty calm and may have made a new queen if they had eggs or young larva. Good luck with them.

  5. Good morning Gary.
You know, when I first got interested in bee keeping, and wanted to learn about them, I never thought there would be so much to learn.
1 hive nice and peaceful, and the other hive chaos.
    I don't know, my Friend.
But I hope you folks have a good day. Raining here.

When i get some boxes made I'll probably try an trap some swam, thr to much money to buy too. Sure like the sound, the buzzing is southing. My wife likes the Martian day so looks like were with you😁.

  7. At first glance, bees are just insects. On the other hand, their involvement in "social" integration is amazing. Beekeeping is a really challenging task. Thanks for sharing, have a nice day!

  9. Sorry to see the hive is empty. Of the 3 years I had bees, the 3rd summer my hive was attacked. If it happens to your other hive, throw a sheet over the whole box and leave a small enough room for your bees to use. This stops the attack right away. Unfortunately that winter, mice ate my bees. All I found inside were legs and wings. Then I got sick and haven't been able to rehive. Best of luck with the one remaining hive!
