  1. I like that the remake portrayed him not as a kooky novelty eccentricity that only a Japanese game would feature, but as a creepy aristocratic European character, the result of generations on inbreeding

  2. They should have Leon´s knife throw to Ramons face and his "defense system" in the game imho. Was a cool scene.
Same with the Troll, villagers dragging him out and paying the price was also nicer in the original.
Plus: Saddler, leave your hood on for gods sake!

  3. Might I suggest you exploring the characters of Capcom's overlooked classic survival horror game, Haunting Ground? WOuld love to hear your take and analysis on them.

  4. Salazar's boss fight is fantastic… but man, I really wish there was a build-up to it, like in the OG. They gave him chances in the original to be a pain in Leon's butt, but in the remake, they don't even talk except for when they first meet and during the boss fight. With the lore they added in this, I feel Salazar had a great chance at being a memorable villain just like his goofier counterpart in OG RE4, but they gave him too little screen time.

  5. Lord Saddler has a point, the United States is too busy being the police force, I personally think he's the protagonist, and Leon plays as a antagonist just a puppet for the global police force, the United States.

  6. While I do like how the remake adds more lore in regards to Salazar's history and character, I ultimately prefer the original as the frequent back-and-forth radio chatter between him and Leon served as highlights of the game and were some of the most memorable quotes.
