  1. is it confirmed that ND used bots at any point of the life span of the u3 MP? it was a big rumor once Free2Play was introduced bc some players u met seemed to play every day and didn't get any better OVER YEARS. (no proof for that tho bc level was capped at 15 ofc.)

  2. game balance was fine ( except for the overall too much blindfire accuracy being high,it needs to go down ). They neednt do any balance changes.
    Tell you what, if these devs or whatever want to make the game better how about they start with 60fps when IN-GAME gameplay and fix the spawn places in the map. Stop spawntraping for good

    im not going in to detail bcs you are not coding the game obviously, but seriously, nobody is gonna join the server until matchmaking becomes available again.

  3. I'm still not fond of the Tau change. I don't really see the point in it because people who are confident at headshotting will probably just stick to the Dragon. Tau should really just to be a pocket Dragon; make it forced scoped like pre-1.17 and then one hs or two bodyshots. Defender may as well be removed because it's basically just another Para 9. There's a reason why it wasn't in the original multiplayer, it's just unnecessary. But I definitely agree that a lot of players right now are just way too sweaty. I can count on one hand the amount of TDMs I've played. I'm just waiting for matchmaking at this point so I can run TDM, FFA and Classic whenever I want.

  4. Still getting used to seeing uncharted multiplayer on my timeline 😅 you provided a ton of information for those who are interested in playing u3 again. Nicely done

    Opinion:
    I know you continue to say this on each video and I tend to agree, you need to be careful in changing things in a game we all grew to love. You change too much and it no longer is uncharted 3 multiplayer.

    Now with that being said,
    Fleet Foot the elephant in the room, I do agree most players back then ran fleet foot and agree with the suggestions you brought up in the video.
    Tau: it’s now what it should have been back in 2011.
    The sweaty lobbies: wow! That sounds stressful 😅
    The discord: anything to facilitate the downtime is a plus specially as majority of the player base now have families/jobs and to be able to play as many games in the limited time a person has would be huge.

  5. People who want casual games back will never get that because the only people who like u3 to come back at this point are obviously gonna be decent at it. I just wish people would try map/mode combos besides what was decided on for the comp mapset 10+ years ago.

  6. As someone playing the beta currently and also a casual player, I’m hoping they don’t make changes that ruin the fun of the game and cater to the competitive only players. Maybe they can have lobbies in the Discord specifically for the casuals and for the competitives. That’s why I typically get on and ask if anyone wants to play Co-op. I have more fun.

  7. i'm glad that you uploaded this because when i saw that the project was getting closer to opening up to more players my nostalgia glasses were glued on me. i think a lot of the patch notes are good and theres good changes but if its just 90% comp lobbies thats just straight up unfun. the last year of UC3 online was fun bc it had a good mix of players where i could mess around with stupid classes and keep one on hand with fleet foot m9. also with it only being custom lobbies atm is a turn off and seeing how yours went they do not look fun at all

  8. U are so wrong and you are so confident thinking u are right that I almost believe I'm the wrong one😅. I use the male or female characters that I want, I use potentiators that I want. The only thing you can say is that we do need to play different maps, PL and OBJ. You have to know that there are some maps specially made for public matches, plunder and OBJ. You will have to wait if you really wanna do jumpsnipes in highrise bro, wait for matchmaking.

  9. Bro downgrading fleet foot, would be the worst decision. There need to be different skill levels, otherwise you have no motivation to get better. Also you guys need to respect the competetive community, these are the guys who love this game the most.

  10. Im go on eventually for some oldschool uc3 matches 😂🔥 been a long ass time I missed this game and 3rd person shooter is a fun genre but nothing touches UC3 when it was at it’s peak. Naughty dog missed an opportunity to mix uc3 and uc4 droppe the bad thins from both and use the good things from both, but who knows maybe UC5 will be something like that for mp

  11. Appreciate the discussion of everything as always!

    I'll avoid talking fleet foot as any discussion of it short of complete worship seems to incite a riot, but have some feedback on the weapons. Gonna ignore the micro since its changes aren't (i don't think) gonna stay as they are:

    Tau Sniper

    I really like the changes to the Tau on the competitive side. Having a sidearm that works (-ish, I'll get to this) at long range complements the close range long guns really well. With that in mind, there are a few things I would change:

    + Buff the scope zoom. My understanding is that it aims to be a long-range pistol, but the range before it becomes ineffective (i.e. can no longer distinguish between head and body) is much closer than the other long-range weapons
    – Reduce the blindfire accuracy. I like its current damage, even with reload speed, but its current blindfire accuracy lends to cheeky steel fist stuff at close range. Think a blindfire accuracy reduction towards that of the other sniper weapons would reduce steel fist stuff but maintain the damage

    New Pistols

    I don't see a place for the defender in the group of secondaries. The original defender was a worse version of the para, the new version is a worse version of the Wes-44. I think a weapon like the Wes is unique to the pool (especially with the tau changes) and is a fan-favorite. I'd keep the Wes, and get rid of the defender.

    AK-47

    Really like the AK buffs and the new sound. It doesn't compete with the M9 (I think the only way we get there is a serious damage buff, or a revamp of the rate of fire mod from the OG beta) but maybe it doesn't need to. It's currently my short range long gun of choice unless I'm playing scrims.

    Kal-7

    The Kal-7 with the accuracy mod is usable when aiming now. Maybe consider making that the base accuracy of the gun and reduce the blindfire accuracy a bit so that it becomes a more viable all-around option.
