That is a fantastic collection, especially the book. Yes, Liar is the best track. I have an special place in memory for Queen II, but this was the start of a poignant moment in rock history. What evidence has been presented about any A I involvement? Is it just a rumor? I saw them live once in 1978. Have you seen them live? thanks Phil, Cheers, Pat
Huge Queen fan since the beginning but I don't need to buy the album again – the original is still the best – just another ploy by the record company to get huge sums of money out of people for the same product.
Been a Queen fan since i heard bohemian rhapsody on ToTPs in 1975, my collection is extensive but i shall NOT be buying this PITCH CORRECTED garbage. Who gave them permission to doctor Freddie's vocals? Messing around with your own parts, fair enough but PITCH CORRECTING freddie.. I'll stick to my original and 80s reissues thanks
I’ve had this album since 1973 and the remix is FANTASTIC! All musical elements have a bit more separation. I am hearing things that I didn’t before. In my opinion, well worth rebuying.
I only bought the single disc remix. Maybe Santa will gift the full set to me!
Phil, we are ALMOST on the same page. My favorite Queen album is Sheer Heart Attack followed by the debut then Queen 2.
Queen's early music especially on the debut album were really great songs
as well as their other 70's albums were my favorites but don't like their
80's music however but this album is really great to hear again thanks

I’ve got the deluxe cd version £24.99 the super deluxe version is a lot of money 💴
First Queen 1 is shameful in its concept and renaming. Remixes are so unnecessary and to me are like Turner Films colourizing vintage B&W films. The process of changing the original sound and feel of older lps is so wrong. Perfection is not what is needed to reissue an older iconic album. They enhanced Freddie’s voice tracks…shameful, they boasted the drums and rhythm sections…..why? All to try and put a modern spin on another classic album. The renaming of this new creation is the only truly good thing they did as it sets it apart from the original classic. You reviewers need to stop Cushing and fawning praise over these unnecessary cash grab remixes. Remastering is a different thing and usually benefits the listener. I’ve watched true reviews from other VC members who have not been kind or positive about this remix. I guess they are not so beholden to the freebies involved in some channels.
My first time hearing Queen was Crazy Little Thing called Loved and the first album of theirs that got was the works. I saw them live on The Kind Of Magic tour? I wonder a ranking of Queen box sets would look like? Well done on getting this. You are in the lap of the Gods.

Brilliant review as expected Phil. To all the critics of this truly great sounding remix I’ll just say, if you don’t want to buy it or listen to it then don’t buy it or listen to it! That’s fine…….but you’re missing out.
