  1. I'm from Denmark and I eat toasted bread with cheese and a cup of tea. But I'm going to start trying overnight oats to see if that is something I can get into

  2. A typical Dutch breakfast is a slice of bread with butter and chocolate sprinkles (hagelslag). I know the supermarket Aldi is also in Australia, they have Dutch weeks so you might be able to buy some. For me i most of the time eat a slice of bread with nutella and a cup of tea.
Some Dutch people eat a slice of bread with cheese (Gouda) in the morning, but for me this is more lunch appropriate.

  3. Its funny when you ask us to challenge ourselves there are a few things I didn't realize I have been doing everyday now since well about last wk of sept. Like I bought face wash and now wash my face every night. We have tadpoles in an old kiddie pond that I try to take pictures of everyday (till they turn to frogs and leave) the face part I think is the real challenge speaking of skin care in your vid.

  4. I kinda want to watch the extended Lord of the Rings trilogy with you and Sam, but it's gotta be with cast commentary, and specifically with apple cider and Japanese curry…. don't ask o.O

  5. I own a habit tracking for stuff which has daily squares for each item (like your list). I find it a good reminder ie I'm ticking one thing off and then go do another (eg I'm going to tick off hobby thing 'i haven't brushed my teeth or take my meds yet I'll go do one.
The feeling good about being able to cross something off helps a lot.

  8. I didn't go to the dentist from the age of 13-25… So obviously, there were issues there. I, like you, also didn't like brushing my teeth and would "forget" to do them at all costs. I also hate the mint flavour of tooth paste. But since I've been getting my mental health in order, I've been brushing them every single day. Occasionally I might miss a brush here and there, but no where near as much as in comparison…
I knew I had to go to the dentist, so I went on a local fb page and asked for recommendations for an empathetic, gentle, kind dentist in the area, and I found one. Even the nurse assistant was lovely. Neither of them ever made me feel like im gross, or judged or made me feel like a bad person for not looking after my teeth, they just helped me with my issues. Since then, ive done my best to maintain my oral health, so I don't have to go back for another 12 odd years 😂😂… ((I'm 31 now))

  9. I don’t normally comment. I’m just a silent lurker most of the time. But just wanted to sound off for a moment to say hello ❤

(Also what’s the discord 👀 I missed this news)

  10. The cropped jacket with fur trim…looks awesome on you. Maybe you can have a picture in it with one of the doves or pigeon cradled in the front v of the jacket. I thought that would be a beautiful backdrop. Red hair …black jacket…white or grey bird.

  11. Hah you talking about using posting content as a trick to actually do stuff. Me when u said we should do a daily challenge together a couple of videos ago: I start vlogs for a month with editing a pic every day and skin care😂

  12. I find the only way I can get myself to do things and stick to a routine is to bribe myself, which to my parents just looks like me buying a load of things I don’t need for a decent amount of money for no reason, but in reality it’s the only way I can motivate myself to workout, or get to bed at a decent time, or wash my car or something else that by brain looks at and think na don’t want to.

  14. I love love love that jacket dear Alex! 😍 OMG that was a good fit on you! Hope u wear it alot.
It’s almost like a mixture of a cropped matrix inspired jacket with a hinch of exclusivity with the fur collar, but it all comes down to the fit, looks like something a fantasy character would wear (trying hard to be specific but mind all over the place) or would be an option in their armour/skins. I don’t even know how to describe it. Just want u to hear it cuz u look so good in it I also want one now!

  15. Alsooo, I’m Sweden 🇸🇪 we often eat oatmeal for breakfast, every kind of oatmeal. I usually do scrambled oatmeal porridge. If u haven’t had scrambled oatmeal yet it’s a treat. Combined scrambled eggs and oatmeal. It’s just the best.

Here is the so easy recipe for 1 person:

    1 dl water
    1 dl milk
    1 dl oats
    1 egg
    1 pinch of salt
1 tablespoon of coconut oil or butter
1 tablespoon of cinnamon or vanilla

Heat 1dl water in pan, add salt+milk+oats+butter/oil of choosing+cinnamon.
Stir and add the egg, lower the heat a little and keep stirring. It will quickly go from runny porridge to scrambled oats in a minute. Then gulp it down. I add berries or fruit if I can be bothered enough if it isn’t too early haha.

  16. I've been a long-time Alex, Dan, and Archie enthusiast and I wasn't going to say anything, but I do have a bit of concern. Please understand this is coming from a place of love and admiration and I don't judge you for it one bit. But it's about having the pigeons out loose all the time. The amount of poo that you can see all around your bedroom in today's video (Oct 12) is a little concerning. I know it's more solid and easier to clean but as someone who suffers from depression, anxiety, executive decision dysfunction, and a few other things, I realize how easy it is to let something like that go. I'm just worried about you, honey…I see so much of myself in you that I realize it can get out of control fast. I'll never mention it again and I did come back a few days to comment it because I didn't want it on a fresh video. Anyway, I know you're a smart woman and you know birds better than I do – I just care about you and your mental AND physical health, that's all.

  17. ADHDer here…I have never related to someone so much 😭 when I need to make smthing a habit I also have to trick myself that it's for a greater purpose but what keeps me going is the dopamine I get from completing a task. it's honestly such an amazing feeling. and when you do that long enough it just becomes a normal thing when it was something you truly have to force yourself to do before. sure there are days where I cant get myself to clean my house or tidy up but the next day or the day after I do it. 2 years ago that seemed impossible for me.

  18. darling Alex. i understand the teeth brushing difficulty. i’m so glad speaking to us is helping you. i hope you can find all the motivations to take care of your mouth.

for a variety of reasons, including the horrid healthcare here in the US that provides zero dental coverage to poor adults (and little to adults with insurance), depression, a fear of the dentist and a fear of the cost . . . i had to have all my teeth removed at 44 and have full dentures. it’s been a year and i still struggle with them and the hit to my already low self esteem.

you are a beautiful person in every way and if i believed an a deity that would actually do anything i’d offer prayers for your happiness.

  19. Binge watching your videos while struggling with my own mental health and realising that I relate so much to so many things you say. Credit where credits due, I don't have the balls to talk about how much my day to day life is effected by my mental health. I too hate leaving the house however I work fulltime and can leave to go to work and find that once there I'm able to disengaged from my actual life and its not until I'm.back home in the evening that the cycle stars all over again. I'm currently in the middle of trying to rearrange and unpack my place to make it a place I want to relax and not somewhere I hide away but also feel extremely stressed out in.

Thank you for opening up, watching your videos has made me take a real hard look at my myself and the way in which I deal with things.

Massive love from the UK xx
