I tried to play it with everything enabled and failed miserably. Still looks amazing with just ultra + settings.
I'm running on rtx 3060, and I can't find RT and RT ultra on graphics settings, I'm running dx12 but can't find the setting, how to solve this?
Id like to see the difference between this and the old version with mods
Ray Traced sunlight on landscape switching on and off when panning is annoying. Evening at the White Orchard herbalist near the Yrden site is the first place I noticed the problem. Using an i9-10850k and evga 3090.
I wouldn't mind lower framerate in certain places (Novigrad), but the skipping, lagging and stuttering is what is making it unplayable for me.
i have 3070 ti asus tuf, i7 9700k, and at 1440p ultra+ and rt ultra, dlss quality my frames are at 45-55 and can dip low 39 how can u play at 4k?
wanna ask something. My spec is 3070ti + i7 9700. I aware that cpu is always at 100% usage while gpu is on about 70% tell by the task manager. However, on GeForce experience, it says my gpu is on 100% usage while my cpu is on about 60%. Does my i7 9700 a bottleneck to a 3070ti? I only have 20-40 fps with all quality ultra+ + RT on at city
Liar. I have the exact same pc build as you and turning up to 4k resolution with everything RTX on, it was like playing the game in slow motion.
When you have installed Witcher 3 before the update, and you update to next gen and you have problems with RT and performance, go in your documents, my games, the witcher3 and delete all the config files and the performance issue should be gone. The game makes new config files for the new next gen.
Playing this on the ps5 controller is just the best feeling ever.
Did i need to buy the next gen graphics or its free if i already have the game ?
Bothers me a lot the camera is on the right now, it looks f stupid.
I have a 3080ti and get avg of 45-50 FPS plying on RT ultra with DLSS on balanced, it feels a bit low latency for my liking. if I change to performance it is noticeably better, but I feel like I lost textures in certain scenes are not the same.
I'm on a 4k 120hz screen btw.
I see you have hairworksAA on 0, why do you have it like that? I will probably try that later.
I own a 3070. Can anyone explain why I don't have "RT" and "RT ULTRA" among the options? I have just "ULTRA+" and that's it. Any idea? Thanks
On a 12900K with a 3090 and 64gb RAM I was getting terrible performance at 1440p RTX and graphics set to max. Turned off RTX and got solid FPS, tweaked some more and switched RTX back on and now my game hard crashes every time. The game now only loads a save if RTX is off. Still looks great without RTX but definitely underwhelmed with the piss poor optimisation and DLSS doesn't seem to really boost performance like it should either.
to see your riva tuner stats or steam overlay is to delete d3d11on12.dll file
The only important question is did they fix Roach's mane bug?
I've wanted to play Witcher 3 for a long time, but never felt I had time to delve into it daily. But maybe I can feel the future, and was really waiting for this update
60fps+ on 4k with a 3070, all maxed out. Yeah right
For RTSS, there was two solutions posted in guru3d forum. Deleting a dll file under the game directory solved it for me. I forgot the file name but should be easy to find.
I have similar specs to your PC and the same graphics card and my PC crashed on 1440p ultra+ 🤔
If this is "insane detail" to you, you should check some games fm developers really known for attention tdetail. This looks generic and not even close to a true next gen game.
I don't know about how's your experience, but for me, when I set to FSR auto, the motion was like delay and not responsive, especially in bright area with lots of trees or flowers, like in Toussaint.
I have to restart the game then it becomes more stable, but still occasionally have the issue.
why do u sound like ur crying
looks aite
With a nice Vrr tv, and ALLM capable TV on the XSX, y'all should REALLY know, it is capable no ui weird drops, small frame dips NOT EVEN IN COMBAT THAT MUCH, moreso in heavily heavily dense smallll drops.. NOT EVEN IN COMBAT does the quality version drop.. and it is SCARY close to PC ultra plus.. scary close… sure you get bit more frames, we locked 30 with Vrr aND aLLM the feel is of 40+. and near locked, just some dense spots small issues I would say when I play, very small, playable.. but actually SMOOTH? in combat at your guys PC ultra + RT + 4k … actually smooth… no weird drops. or stalls, or not many hitches.. Let me get back to you, I played like 2-3 sessions no hitches at all, maybe different areas will hitch? So far super impressed by SX version, super impressed. But from what I see, from even more powerful, or same powerful or EVEN more power power PCs I see PC ultra Plus can be played at a decent frame, some say hitch?? but from what I see, the frames can be expected, with a strong strong PC, to be higher than even PC ultra SX RT overall.
So, overall, it is so interesting, If you have RTX 3080 ~ or your RTX 3070 ti / RTX 3070 Super than it is so interesting, you can play a slightly stronger version even!!! But for most everyone , with 499$, to have access to THAT CLOSE to real.. having real PC ultra, RAY TRACING? on a console? of course max RES too. HOWEVER, I will End with the PC version is a superior with a superior PC, and you have superior features ! OF COURSE, I am just impressed OVERALL! sorry if I sound hatey ^ above!!
I get better performance out of cyberpunk than this game man. Hasn't games like metro and control taught us that we can have lots of raytracing and good performance
My Rtx 3070 can't reach 60 fps at all with raytracing turned on…. Not even in 1080p. With raytracing turned off, I can play at 1440p + dlls quality + ulta plus settings at 65-70 fps… The update came with problems namely with raytracing. It's poorly optimized. At 4k in performance mode on ultra settings I can get close to 60, but without raytracing.
they removed HBAO and are comparing SSAO with RT AO….this is so shady, nVidia must've paid em to do so that they can sell more RTX cards
Yo Dx12 is broke for me. It worked at first then it didn't day 2. Had to go to dx11 .
Ryzen 5950x
3080 ti
64 gig ram
Been playing it on my 4090 and it looks amazing.
touissant is unreal. it's like a painting. every single frame. a painting. i just sit there looking at things in the distance on my giant super ultrawide monitor. its mind blowing how perfect it looks. there wont be a game that looks this good for the next 10 years at least. its perfect.
I have a 3080 and a ryzen 9 5900x and struggle to get above 60 fps with ray tracing. The game is just poorly optimized. CD project red has acknowledged it and working on a fix. From what I’ve seen only 4080 and 4090s can really hit ray tracing 60 or higher.
This next gen version looks very good even on medium settings. I found my sweet spot on ultra as the hit from ray tracing is a bit too much for my RTX3070Ti It's more like a smack than a hit actually (much more than the hit in Cyberpunk), but the game still looks fantastic on plain ultra-so no loss really. Best thing about this is the new close camera tho, so much more immersive.
Hey lastknownmeal ! Hope you are doing well. Is the Netflix armor an option we can choose to not have in the game ? Just like the ball sack armors ?
Me : I feel like playing Witcher 3 with ultra+ settings on….
My 3080 : Oh no,i'm so dead 🙂
5800X + 3070, 32GB RAM
4K, Ultra+, DLSS Quality, no RT: 120+ FPS
Just enabling RTGI ALONE: Sub-30FPS…
There's a serious performance issue with RT enabled…. No other game is this drastically different with just global illumination raytraced….
The PC version is broken… severely CPU limited for some reason when you enable RT. They jave to do some heck a lot of tuning to alleviate the issue.
I play with RTX 3090 and there is no way in hell you can play at 4k native with RT on at 50-60 fps. Perhaps 1440p DLSS quality or balanced… but at 4k native you get around 20-30 fps with rtx3090.
Ultra plus graphics don’t look that good to me on my PC I’ve got 3080TI and an i9 the game still looks quite dated to me. And blurry. UPDATE , I played around with settings and turned on DLSS quality and now it looks incredible. I must of had the wrong antialiasing on. I’m a dick. It now looks incredible. 😂
Those nekkers with the ponytails and the masks from the intro clip… Have those always been a thing?
