Ultra Instinct is a form for Goku that has amazing foreshadowing! It was built up towards throughout all of Dragon Ball Super and even has retroactive connections to the lessons Goku learned in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.

If you love dragon ball like this comment
If only Ultra Instinct was actually as useful and Powerful as it was hinted to be 😑.
Don’t let goku be the goal keeper bro 💀
Popo was showing it off and described it exactly how it was described by whis, popo is hiding something 🤔
It was first hinted at in og dragonball when popo was training goku to be a "rock". The manga explains it better in a segment with roshi where goku pulls together all the training and knowlege from his various senseis over the years.
Is that dodge from bulma even Cannon tho
Now thats what i call character development 😂
Well duh, ofc it'd be in the show ahead of time writers usually already knows how the story will go before it's done writing
But they need to make this Goku more like the one in Z. Yes Goku has stupid moments, but is not stupid.
"It was first hinted at by Whis in the Resurrection F movie"
WRONG. It was first hinted at by Mr. Popo in the original Dragon Ball, during the Archdemon Piccolo Arc, when Mr. Popo taught Goku to move instinctively, because doing so was the only way for Goku to become powerful enough to stand a chance against Piccolo.
You didn’t have to cut me of
Jokes
didn't krillin throw a rock at goku in z and krillin said that goku was gonna zap it into a million pieces? That's probably an early sign of ultra instinct.
It's just an popular concept in battle manga. You can say that it was "foreshadowed" in og dragonball 😂
then theres Ego, Vegeta foreshafowed that since he 1st talked about his saiyan pride
Why the title, then?
Look ultra instinct did come out of nowhere. Like yes it’s been foreshadowed since beginning of dbs but goku gaining that power is out of nowhere. Like since when did getting close to death just make ur body move on it’s own?
Bro who let this man cook?… WE GOTTA LET HIM COOK AGAIN!!!
So super is the buildup to ultra instinct
Beautiful😢
Sorry carthu the most important character is grampa gohan
Goku
I'd argue UI, the form, was not foreshadowed, UI, the technique/skill/ability/whatever you want to call it, was foreshadowed. UI as a form was pulled out of nowhere for merchandising, when ironically, it wouldn't have felt as weird if the powerup form had been granted upon Goku achieving the ability naturally, since the form looks angelic enough to understand it. Like the manga, but even moreso than how the manga did it. The anime version especially instead just made it into a flashy powerup that we are told makes him dodge better even though being faster than an opponent from a powerboost already does that.
Still didn't dodge that rock killin chucked at him when he was sleeping
the fact that some people will say it was an ass pull, they literally mentioned multiple times through out the show
When you said Virginia spent 5 years and 6 months and 2 weeks in the child time chamber you're wrong because he used 1 year 2 years and 3 more years in the time chamber so that means it's actually 6 months and 6 years and 2 weeks
Vegita Actually spent 6 years and 6 months and 2 weeks in the time chamber because he said he Used it for 1 year 2 years and 3 years So that means he actually spent 6 years 6 months and 2 weeks in the time chamber
Brazil Rio de Janeiro…. is She, the One, True Flamme: ("""AURORA!""") eyno audrey amelia mont d'ora robyn aurelie Lily bug ! Fact! This is the Truth !! 🔥💛💙💜
I mean, even back in OG Dragon Ball, Mr. Popo taught Goku this
OMG HE CAN MOVE WITHOUT USING HIS GOTEN'S IQ
Popo taught him
Shame it sucks now but yes popo begins the road. Like the character, ignore the design.
Atleast we can say MUI came out of no where
Actually goku wasnt in a meditative state when bulma attacked him, he was taken out of that state by the car hitting him and was just relaxed.
He was concentrating on meditating and keeping a calm mind, which is something you SHOULDN'T do when using ultra instinct, since your mond needs to be empty
Not as out of nowhere as beast was
yea
Now ultra ego on the other hand is literally the opposite
I mean, if you watched him train with Popo back in the original series, it is all about moving without thinking. It was something that all great martial artists should hope to aspire too.
The only thing is.. when Toriyama was making Dragon ball and Dragon ball Z, he did not know what Ultra Instinct even is
Good take❤
It was when he was a kid and he dodged a hard projectile thrown at him and he dodged it
Dragon Ball Super Episode:
Goku in a meditative state
Dragon Ball Super Hero:
Goku: That's not real training Vegeta
They did a great job at coming up with new power ups instead of super sayin 5 , or 6 and so forth
Even as a Kid he dodged on Instinct when fighting his Clay Clone
I can't wait until they make something new to make this form obsolete
