Weโre Marianne & Chris, a happily married couple from the UK. Marianne is a living kidney donor to her best friend, and realising that life was for living and never really knowing whatโs round the corner โ we decided to fulfil our dream of travelling full time.
So in March 2018 after the kids had left home, we sold our belongings, rented our house and moved into our campervan called Trudy. We set off to see the world and after vanlifing around Ireland and Europe, we grabbed our backpacks and spent 5 months exploring Central America.
Feeling like we needed a challenge, we planned the ultimate van life adventure! In Jan 2020 set off to drive around the World from UK to UK. But after arriving in Turkey, covid caught up with us and closed the borders, so we had a wonderful 18 months exploring this special country. Realising we were not going to be able to head further East, we decided to do a handbrake turn and go the other way and shipped our van to the USA.

Absolutely fantastic! I had something like this in my mind about 35 years ago~ there definitely was going to be a hot tub in there and storage for motorcycles or other alternate modes of transportation. So glad to see it manifest in reality!!!
Wow that's incredible. Couldn't even get it down my road let alone in the driveway.
It's incredible that, in this day and age, when you can send texts, e-mails, photos and videos to the other side of the world in nanoseconds, and travel across the globe within one day, that it should take weeks to get the part for Trudy. That RV is completely self-contained. Clayton's ingenuity and imagination are truly admirable. The guy goes big with everything! Inspector Gadget has nothing on this guy, lol.

I have a Jackery 500 like yours! I got it just in time for a highly unusual subzero freeze here in Texas that we had in 2021 that knocked out electricity all over the state! Was a great comfort to know it was there.

Mad is the new normal
I love the Jackery power banks. I have Two 1000 with solar panels and 1 240 which is very cute. I run my lounge lights off the 240 and use the 1000 in the kitchen and the only thing Iv found I can't use in the Jackery is the kettle so I use a camping gas stove. Yes I'm trying to cut my energy bills down while we're going through this crises and these Jackery work a treat. Even though your stuck in a car park to manage to make a great video once again I don't know how you guys do it but you do but it would of been nice to have a walk around the carboot sale with you. I hope and pray you receive the van parts very soon so you can go back on your travels as I can imagine being stuck in a car park isn't very good for your souls I have my fingers crossed for you guys. Great video once again. Stay safe and well.
