I played the whole plane part with Danny and wound up witching to lil pump. He’s been fine, I’m half way through the game so far just loving the time playing and exploring
I chose Jacob cos he’s more of an all rounder character, he’s pretty good in a lot of the categories. first playthrough i didn’t wana jump into a new game making a build without knowing about weapons/mechanics. Once i understood Jacobs mechanics i was doing massive crit damage, the Rueben boss fight literally was only few seconds.
Ok so does agility actually effect other movement like attack speed and dodging? If it effects swing speed that sounds like it could be a really good argument for agility, but this has been mentioned nowhere far as i've looked. If it is really just walk speed and nothing else that's actually so sad and useless
even with the weakest char. the game isnt that difficult. So I prefer voice and character over raw stats as I want to have a nice bond in a story game to my character.
Also there are no difficulty settings. So if you want to higher the difficulty just pick amy as I did bcs she is so cute😁

Dani was my first pick and I don't regret it at all
I played as Bruno because I thought more crit would be good but it really does not matter who you pick the game is not hard and there is no penalty for death so basically just pick who you think you'll like. Most of the voice acting is only slightly different so not a big deal and all the NPC will say the same thing to every toon so nothing new is going to happen.
When you have gotten bored of swinging a melee weapon it's rather easy to just use a gun and shoot their legs off and when you notice that its better to use a physical weapon damage type because you can hit every zombie no matter what they are then all you need is guns using phy damage to shoot their leg.
Yeah it's fun to melt them or set them on fire etc but it gets old fast having to swop weapons just because a zed is immune to that type of damage and you might as well just use physical.
At the end I have a single shot rifle that did 3k damage (1.6k at level 26)at fired as fast as you could pull the trigger meaning 1 or 2 shots and the leg was off 4 or 5 shots and big zeds were down then later when that got boring you end up just running past them lol.
You forgot about the affects of completing challenges does to character attributes and how it affects combat which makes your math inaccurate.

I did my first playthrough as Amy, and I grew to like her a lot. I'm doing one as Jacob right now, I like him, just not quite as much as I did Amy.

For my first playthrough I used Jacob and now im using Carla, I love them both, but idk what character ima use for 3rd playthrough yet
When I got those legendary brass knuckles my life changed, That is best weapon in the game imo, its so fun to beat the sh with them, but u need some other explosion mods on them to make them that good, but they re so fun.
I choose amy because regenerate health and was useful and she beautiful

Ryan is an overall tank. He deals out just as much if not more damage than what he takes.
Amy is best girl I refuse to listen to Amy slander maxed her and 97% completed just cleaning up little thing to 100% but I'm also running Carla right now and I'm enjoying her playstyle and voice.
You forget to mention something about ami which is her second inate ability because its good for bosses
Bruno is my fav idk why it just feels like certain dialogue is just Soo good with certain characters

Agility affects your move speed during fights also. I would agree that one or two points make hardly any difference, but I'm sure that during fights you could see difference between 1 and 5 star.
I would honestly like to see that comparison.

I picked ryan because i thought he was a real fireman lol i was wrong. His dialog seems to match the main game the best tho and is the only semi serious one. Finished a little past the hotel with him and switched to carla. Much better damage. Plus i always forgot to block so the blocking cards didnt help me any.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what character you choose if you have skill issue. The numbers of the stats won't make any difference if you can't play well.
Bruno Main here, There's an Oversight here. Agility also increases Attack Speed.
With the Skill Card that stacks agility when doing dodges + his innate skill of boosting agility when perfect dodging, The Attack speed is insane!
So Having Max Agility due to Buffs + His Backstab damage + Party Starter Legendary Knuckles. I feel Like a f*cking stand from Jojo.
He is not Bottom tier.
Bruno’s a fun and funny character just finished the game with him very happy that I chose him but damn his health is low had to dash and kick constantly

I really don't think you grasp the intentions of this game. Your argument would only matter for a game like Dying Light that can put 100 zombies on screen can be used as advantage vs this game that can only handle 8-10 zombies at once.

17:25 – I'll have to screenshot my Setup but I'm only lvl 13 and Jacob is absolutely the goat, IMO. Something I'm sure you're aware of but may have overlooked is Jacob can lifesteal like Dani i.e. *once block is unlocked* he becomes an Insta-k-Tank. I literally walk into a room, find the ingress point and either stand in the middle of the room, relying on my keen hearing (attack patterns) or go up against a wall and watch the Zombies run at me. I increase damage and crit + an elemntal mod on every weapon and = *BOOM, infinite 1-2-Trigger Pulls per Zombie = Infinite Health Regen & Insta-K Loops. *
I've already gotten good enough to handle (parry) special/elemental Z's w/ Crushers w/ Runners mixed in.
Im glad you find happiness from a game like riptide with the ability to have 8-10 zombies at once on PS3 to go to ps5 and have 5-8 enemies. You are the type of player who is happy to have 1 map added every 4 months on battlefield 2042 and not understand why players who got 4 maps every 4 months, not understand why they are mad
I started the game playing with Dani, and I wasn’t feeling her for whatever reason. So I chose Bruno, I definitely liked him a whole bunch more. Than I tried Amy, and LOVED her. It wasn’t until I started doing research when I found out people didn’t care for her 🙁 I’ve never cared for being a slow Tanky player in anything, and I’ve always played high squishy DPS characters better so that could be why. I’ll try all of them, but so far I enjoy amy
I kinda missed the entire gang being in the base and defending the base with you both immunes and non immunes during siege missions rather than "the chosen one" gameplay of DI2.
But good gameplay overall. Played first as Ryan and now with Jacob.
