Prigozhin is literally nobody, he has no mliltary rank, no any official position in russian government, he is just some dude, businessman, and yet he can go to russian prison and recruit prisoners against any laws and regulations, it is illegal in Russia, it says everything about russian regime. I don't know other historical examples of ppl like him, usually dictators don't tolerate all mighty shady ppl like Prigozhin, they remove any potentially dangerous people. Prigozhin is his man rn but that can change fast and get out of hand of Putin. Young soviet government used someone like that in 1920s cause they weren't strong enough and needed help but that was short union and all such ppl were either killed or banished later when commies strengthened their grip.
Prigoszin should be one of those black bags.
