Ukrainian soldiers mounted a valiant effort to rescue a wounded comrade from the battlefield in Bakhmut after Russian shells rained down beside them. The soldier’s painful screams alerted his comrades who ran to his aid. The troops attempted to take wounded soldier to safer ground when another Russian shell hit the squad.
