  1. I guess Putin never read much about battle strategies.
For example, it is no secret Douglas McArthur had a great strategy.
Instead of Putin's "hit them where they are."
McArthur said, "hit em where they aint."
It's how he defeated larger Japanese armies in numerous battles.
And in nearly 3 years Putin still isn't learning.

  2. Putins on the clock, he needs Kursk back before trump comes into power and brings everyone round the table. Ukraine keeps the bartering chip to trade territory back and call it quits.
I reckon Putin isn’t as aware of the losses as it seems and he’s being placated by his generals who are under immense pressure to get it done that they dare not tell him it’s been a shit show

  3. The Russians are tough people…… but no matter what government they have had, they love to sacrifice their soldiers… be it under the Czar, under the communists, or under the ex KGB mafia.

  4. If Ukraine had the same amount of of stuff Russia has , it would be all over by now , Ukraine far better Army , but there well outnumbered and always running out of gear , Russia got endless supply but poor fighting Army

  5. Good basic tactics..nothing new about it though. Guide the enemy to where your assets are at the advantage.

    In other news

  6. Interesting take on the Georgia War. Whilst Russia did indeed suffer setbacks that it shouldn't have, it equally did bulldoze it's way to Tblisi with ease and I feel that this videos narrative overlooks that and almost makes it sound like a Georgian victory. It was not.

  7. If putin is certain of anything right now he is a bigger fool than I gave him credit for. After every failure of his military in the last couple of years he must be insane if he has any confidence in them at all. I think he is just deperate and doesn't have a choice other than to throw everything at the wall and pray something sticks.

  8. isn't it obvious by now that Putin's tactics will eventually work? to him it's just a numbers game and he has the numbers, as long as his countrymen can't somehow overthrow him to stop the massacre of their youth. funny how History just keeps repeating time after time in this region

  11. It's impressive how we hear nothing about aerial support for the russian ground troops… It makes it seem like Russia has no fighter jets. I know they are scared about getting their precious latest generation fighters down but what about the old ones? Are they still scared about ground to air missiles? We need more information about what is going on with the Russian air fleet.

  12. The only ways I can rationalize joust how poorly Russia has handled this war (other than criminal levels of incompetence) are either there is a major logistical error making it difficult for them to keep their soldiers supplied, they’re specifically trying to reserve equipment in case of a future bigger war with NATO, or the sanctions have hit so hard that they just can’t afford to do any better.

It’s just insane to see a country’s military using worse tactics than new RTS players. Using the same failed tactics over and over again?

  13. Does Russia even have a Military Academy? You can't get, let alone keep good brass without having any veterans that were able to learn tactics in a real war and bring the knowledge home to teack others. It seems that Putin just lets civilian (fake) friends be Generals, even when they never got past grade 1 in school.
