One important thing to remember is no one can actually force Ukraine to the negotiation table .
Even if the USA announces they will lift all sanctions against russia and all banks dealing with russia that will not make Ukraine surrender if they do not want to .
Europe will keep their sanctions because they have been directly threatened by russia so for them now there is no way they can allow russia to win .
What it will probably do is cause a change in targeting policy .
Magyar probably does not have any where near that many fibre optic controlled drones .
However if you publish that your enemy outnumbers you massively then it provides an excuse for your own failures .
So now a 100 column that gets destroyed is because the enemy has better drones not because your defences are poor .
The downside of US investors demanding impossible dividends is that the USA has outsourced everything from mostly China .
This gives China a gilt edged invitation to spy on the USA ( and every where else ) .not that the SA has not been doing the exact same thing since the early 90's .
And when you add the universal shift of income from the bottom to the top the population themselves will seek out cheaper alternatives via the internet .

Thanks for the update, JP. As far as up armoring the air defense units I wonder if Ukraine planes to bring them a little closer to the front to hit russian aircraft launching glide bombs. They should have enough units to expand the zone of control into russia. Range on a PAK-2 is 160km. Range on a russian glide bomb is 65km with the new wing kits.(less on the FAB-3000) David Ax wrote an article about this in Forbes March 2024. "That apparently is what happened in February, when Ukrainian air-defenses shot down 13 Russian Sukhois in 13 days. But the redeployment ended in disaster around March 9, when a Russian drone spotted a Patriot convoy 20 miles from the eastern front line—and cued an Iskander ballistic missile that blew up at least two Patriot launchers."

That steel contains several alloying elements that make it possible to harden the plate completely even though it is very thick. It will be hard to create a dent in those plates without the use of armour piercing projectiles.

Many expect an end to Russia's criminal war in Ukraine in 2025. Trump announced it. Yes, Trump even maneuvered himself into a position and suggested to everyone that he could bring peace, negotiate, force it…
Trump himself has thereby raised expectations that he must now fulfill.
Now, however, Trump has a problem: a false peace forced on Ukraine can hardly be sold as a "good deal" in the USA either. Trump would look weak. Trump will be accused of leaving allies behind and throwing them under the bus. It is possible that Ukraine would continue the fight as a guirrilla war. This would bring horrific images to Americans' television screens. More war crimes by the Russians: murder, torture, ethnic purges, mass shootings… and Trump would be seen by many as partly responsible. So there will be no Nobel Peace Prize for Trump.
I almost think Trump has nothing to gain by putting pressure on Ukraine.
Trump will only be able to present himself as a winner, a strong leader, a reliable partner, in short "as someone who can't be trifled with," especially to many of his conservative voters, if he puts pressure on Putin.
Or to put it another way: As a result of the war, Trump will not be able to give Putin what Putin needs in order to sell it as a victory in Russia without Trump himself appearing as a "loser" and a "weak negotiator." There is no “win-win” solution for Trump and Putin.
