  1. Jonathan, the footage shown with a lot of destroyed russian material is old. "Destroyed and abandoned Russian equipment near Mykolaiv airport. around 46.911631,32.102027. Probably March 2022". (PaulJawin twi)

  2. i like the idea of the UK sending all of its spare Challenger 2 tanks, then maybe loaning them say another 50 (+). they could stipulate that the 50 are to be stationed say near the Belarus boarder where they could make a reasonable deterrent but probably not be destroyed and/or say, give us the best 50 working tanks back when the war is over.

  3. Something to consider.
Wanger are being declared a terrorist organisation by new countries every day. Why do this? In a practical sense it has no real value as it doesn't really change their operations. So then it is clear it is a political move, but to what end.
My guess is the west are having their influence on the Putin succession plans, they are making it very clear Prigozhin cannot be the next Russian president. If this is the case it shows western countries are considering two things, Putin will not be in power for to much longer and they consider Prigozhin as a potential front runner for taking over from him.
    Just some food for thought.

  4. Am I the only one who smells another UA ruse? Could the tank coalition ship those tanks covertly so that when πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί does its big offensive (to avoid facing these tank killers), the AFU will roll in with these newer tanks. That’s what I would do. It would also explain all the equipment the US is moving to the PL-UA border. The reason given was to rotate the equipment that had been there for 8 mo. Ignoring the Measure of a man, equipment doesn’t need vacation time (R&R).

  5. Jonathan, kudos for your insightful update. Verifying attrition numbers of Russian armor with imagery is critically important, but the key question in the coming weeks is by what weapons. The AFU's western-acquired armored vehicles are entering the battle space and will soon allow local AFU units to exploit the RuAF's weak points in close contact. This is particularly true along the currently problematic Bakhmut axis. No need to wait for Leopards to counter the Russians there. Many of the AFU's acquired western vehicles provide them rapid mobility to address AFU defensive gaps. Moreover, they have significant close range anti-armor capability and can destroy opposing Russian armor and artillery in contact. That will leave Russian infantry stalled and fixed in their trenches well before Ukraines anticipated spring offensive.

  6. With regards to the F16 question, if the west does not send the F16's to Ukraine, then at least NATO should send every soviet era jet fighter in the stocks to Ukraine, get rid of it all and back fill with F16's or other equivalent. At least them NATO would have an upgraded air force made of a consistent set of Western Jets. Either way Ukraine should get a bunch of jets.

  7. Jonathan, the Kremlin to pay a cash bounty on destroyed modern western weapons; how typically Russian. Represents the concept of Russian "World Piece." A piece of the bribery & corruption action, no doubt. Local commanders will likely fake the evidence and bribe the paymasters to swallow it. Moreover, there is a more cynical interpretation for the orcs retrieving their near-dead comrades from the battlefield before the dogs eat them. Pilfer their pockets for identification papers and then finish the job. Then attempt to extort the deceased's relatives for a kickback on the blood money promised by the Kremlin. More Russian "World Piece."

  8. I think a large part of the reason for to F-16 is that the Ukrainian logistics system is about to be shocked with the amount of different systems all coming in. It will be under a lot of stress and we don't want to break it by throwing aircraft in the mix too. I figure once the logistics system sorts out the new equipment they are getting then they will be able to handle the added F-16 and support systems.
Also the F-16 is old technology and because it has not stealth it really will not be the game changer that it sounds like it should be. The skies are super contested so the upgrade from what they have now isn't as large as you will see from the upgrade to modern tanks and ifv.

  9. Interesting turn of events. No Ukrainians being trained on fighters.Hmm. I guess it’s time to write our representatives and find out where the $800 million went. Especially considering it was only $100 million originally but was porked up in that wonderful 4155 page document that was the 2023 NDAA.

  10. The article in Only Sky about the Ukraine-Russia War being a proxy war with Nato is very good. I'm sure when the Russians look at a map and see Poland, they think of Nato and then the USA.

  11. People don't even give the homeless money yet they want every country to send everything but the kitchen sink. The propaganda numbers from both sides is laughable at this point. Send all the jets you want but without pilots they are just juicy targets. I enjoy your videos thank you.

  12. As we struggle to fit current events into our world view, the accuracy of information we get is vital. Qualifying each story through citing our sources, 3 is ideal, is important. As painful as it may be. The enemy use dis information routinely. We can defeat this through simple relay of the truth.

  13. 00:50 One artillery piece, they must get this up. 02:00 22 APCs What the Hell are the Russians thinking? 05:00 No air kills? I've heard of his loss and so many are dead and so young. They will get more. 06:30 Why quote the Jester who isn't running things in the US. What matters is what happens in the mind of the great Oz and we all know she hides behind the curtain. 14:51 Denmark, I agree with you. 15:20 There are two sides to the American continent with oceans.

  14. The 2023 national defense authorization act, in the US, passed last year, had, at least in the house version, unless it was removed in the Senate, a hundred million dollar provision for training Ukrainian pilots on our planes, so you can take that for what it's worth on the question of whether they'll get US fighters of some kind. I would think the F16 is not the ideal for Ukraine, because of it's landing gear being a little weak for uneven runways, but they were planning, at that time, to train their pilots, though I'm sure it wasn't something they wanted to advertise, at that point. To tell the truth, I lost track of whether that provision made it into the final bill, but at least in the house, there was bipartisan support for it. I'm kind of thinking it survived, though.

  16. Comrade – I think all the talking about Ukraine winning this war and reclaiming Crimea is nonsense. Since 2008 -2014 -2022 Ukraine has gone nowhere.

All their gains were the result of Russian Troops repositioning their forces.

So time for a reality check.

Even the Taliban had better success over the same time period.

Australia is only providing the propellent for the shells as they don't manufacture 155mm artillery shells – France will make the munitions.
