Ukraine war: Fire engulfs Russian oil refinery after drone attack in Krasnodar

A large fire that broke out at an oil refinery in southern Russia was caused by a Ukrainian drone strike, the local governor has claimed.

The fire at the Afipsky oil refinery was soon put out and there were no casualties, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said.

The refinery is close to the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk, near another refinery that has been attacked several times this month.

It comes a day after a suspected Ukrainian drone fleet hit Moscow’s wealthiest neighbourhoods in the first apparent attack on civilian targets since the war began.

  1. Before Russia could start a war, one had to think about the consequences; Russia does not recognize that it is losing its combat potential; since the beginning of the war, the Russian army has brutally destroyed Ukraine’s infrastructure. including residential buildings and hospitals, but now Russia complains that the oil depot supplying Russian troops exploded, what a pity

  2. Following the initiation of Russia's comprehensive war against Ukraine on February 24, 2022, reports have emerged regarding various fires and acts of sabotage within Russia. There is conjecture that these events may have been executed by the Ukrainian military or local guerrilla units.Russian military facilities are not safe. Such incidents clearly show that Russia is losing the war

  3. Nafos are happy. These are done by Storm Shadow missiles sent by UK. Ru might wish to retaliate UK for these damages. There are many imaginative possibilites here. The US never do these kinds of things so brazenly. Do UK Nafos know? Overpriviledged public-school-boy ruling class may just be ruining UK.

  6. The Telegraph being the pro-Ukrainian puppet of Ukraine as always. They never see how Russia is hitting at Ukraine hard. Don't be fooled by their one-sided reporting. The Telegraph is merely giving the illusion that Ukraine is winning. Meanwhile their own county of the U.K. is suffering terribly economically. The Telegraph doesn't represent the common Brit living in the U.K. Many British do not care for this conflict but their own economic woes. But the British people suffer in silence. Shame on the corrupt and warmongering U.K. government and their state medias – Telegraph included.

  7. Ukraine's regime having no success in the battlefield targets and kills civilians on massive scale provoking Russia to do the same. The US and accomplices gave them indulgence for any kind of war crime accusing Russia by the way. The whole west has turned into huge ISIS.
