Ukraine raids Crimea: Special forces cause havoc for Russia and destroy radar

Ukraine raids Crimea: Special forces cause havoc for Russia and destroy radar | Ukrainian special forces staged an audacious landing in annexed Crimea, according to Kyiv’s military intelligence. The raid was near Cape Tarkhankut early this morning. “The goals have been achieved,” said HUR agency spokesman Andriy Yusov, giving few details, but indicating a special operation was continuing. Locals heard explosions near the village of Mayak. Radio Liberty reported a battle involving boats and aircraft. The location is close to where Ukraine a day earlier destroyed a Russian S-400 air defence system. Nebo-M and Kasta-2E2 radar stations may have been a target of the surprise Ukrainian raid at around 3:50am. Russian sources suggested ten people came in two rubber boats and alleged they had shot at a campsite. Some Russian sources say the Ukrainian force was “destroyed” but there was no confirmation of this, and it was disputed by pro-war Moscow channels. Earlier the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Major-General Kyrylo Budanov had hinted at action in Crimea. The special operation was reportedly carried out with the Ukrainian navy. Kyiv said it suffered no casualties. Yusov said a special operation was continuing but gave no details. Putin has controlled Crimea since 2014 when his forces annexed the Bl;ack Sea peninsula. #ukrainewar #ukrainewar #ukrainerussia #dailymail

  1. Ukrainian marines were trained by Royal Marines and Army Commandos to conduct small boat amphibious operations, including beach raids and had recently returned home. Coincidence? Glory to UKRAINE love from the UK

  2. Ukraine is a cemetery with a military and soon after it's few remaining soldiers are gone.

It will be just a cemetary.

It was used as a proxy and they were fools to allow that.

    Watching from Somalia.

  4. If this raid really did happen (which is very doubtful) then in all likelihood the Russian "casulties" were all unarmed civilians–making this nothing more than a cowardly terrorist attack. Shame.

  6. Nikita Khrushchev of Russia gave Crimea to Ukraine as a token of goodwill. After the coup of 2014, Ukraine had no more goodwill towards Russia. Therefore Russia had the right to take Crimea back. That is common law.

Unfortunately, stupid clowns don't know this fact. And the mentally retarded "as long as it takes" fool doesn't know it either. A pity.
