First-person footage of the battle was taken by ‘PMC Company Group’ in the Kreminna forest, which is located in the east of Ukraine. It shows soldiers storming a Russian position deep in a pine forest. They open fire with machine guns before hurling grenades into the Russian foxholes, to flush out any fighters hiding there. Kreminna lies at the eastern end of Ukraine’s advance out of Kharkiv, which took place around this time last year. Fighting continues in the area, but neither side is gaining ground.
