Ukraine counteroffensive forces Russian troops to flee | DW News

The Ukrainian state agency in charge of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant says operations at the Russian-occupied facility have been fully stopped as a safety measure. Engineers have shut down the sixth and final reactor amid growing concern at the risk posed by fighting in the region.
This comes as a sweeping Ukrainian counteroffensive has driven Russian forces out of dozens of communities in eastern Ukraine.
Kyiv says it has liberated around two thousand square kilometers of its territory in recent days – and the operation is ongoing around cities including Izyum, Balakliya and Kupiansk. Russia says it’s withdrawing some of its forces from the region.

  1. These nuisance are happening since February. One side is gaining other side is loosing positions then reverse is happening and this drama is continuing πŸ₯±πŸ₯±πŸ₯±πŸ₯±πŸ₯± today Ukraine gained position tomorrow Russia will retake again and this game will continue until western power understand that Communist China is the main threat to the peace and harmony of the world and west have to save money for war preparations against China. Russia neither have economy nor industrial capabilities to beat the "West" but Communist China surely have both of them. πŸ₯±πŸ₯±πŸ₯±πŸ₯±πŸ₯±πŸ₯±πŸ₯±

  3. A leader of the separatist movement has resigned and is now turning tail and running back to Russia. This was an occupation of Ukraine by Russian citizens and then those Russian citizens produced a false narrative that Donbaas wanted to be Russian , the entitlement is astounding, Putin used this false narrative as a pretext to invade and bomb and plunder Ukrainian people. But Slava Ukraini πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ’ͺ the Ukrainians fought back hard physically and the rest of the world fought back hard economically, the two sided war Russia foolishly got itself into will ruin Russia because Putin is too pigheaded to concede.

  4. Face it β€” the Ukraine is our own Front Line.
The problem is that if we get in there, physically, alongside and fighting beside the Ukraine against Russia … ol' Putey won't give up without playing his trump card. (We may have to get used to the idea of glowing in the dark.)

This war must (R) must get to the Russians themselves, the man-in-the-street β€” see the problem? Uninformed people tend to believe what their officials tell them and there'll be no shortage of volunteers to the colours, eager to throw back the damned invading Ukrainians and their deluded NATO buddies. (Remember the "first casualty of war"?)

  6. Ukrainian army should target the regrouping points of the Russian occupying army and those supply railway lines. Time for Ukrainian army to heavily land mine their borders that they share with Russia.

  7. WWII & NOW ?

As war is fought it takes charge

And events spin out of control.

The madness of men can alter the soil

which nourishes the roots of their soul.

    Many things will forever change

Far more then wished to be.

As the wrath of war starts to destroy

Those things we fight to keep free.

War is the greatest plague of man,

    Religion, state and sanity.

    Any scourge is more preferred

Than the one which disables humanity.

Where are the soldiers so far, far away?

How many will perish no one can say.

Where are the soldiers we love night and day?

Deployed world over to keep evil at bay.

When war breaks out, boundaries change

And all who die are a token

Of the rage that must run its course

Before words of peace are spoken.
