Ukraine has claimed a major victory as one of Russia’s most important and potent warships suffered massive damage after a missile attack. Ukraine said two Neptune anti-ship missiles were fired to target the leading Russian Slava-class Moskva warship. Regional Governor of Odessa, Maksym Machenko, has confirmed that Ukraine targeted and hit the warship with Neptune missiles.
The incident on the Moskva missile cruiser occurred after ammunition on board blew up, Interfax news agency quoted the Russian defence ministry as saying. “As the result of a fire on the Moskva missile cruiser, ammunition detonated,” it said in a statement.

The reporter is so convincingly telling that the ship has been sunk by two Neptune missiles from Odessa, other reports say one Neptune missile hit the ship and still others claim that it was a fire on the ship. These are different narratives. How far from the coast was the ship, nobody knows. The Russian ship did not have radar and could not detect the incoming missiles. Other reports say that the ship is afloat. This information is given by the Governor of Odessa. How did he know? I can understand a ship catching fire. It happens often in the Indian Navy, but a fire on a lone Russian ship with no one to help? If the Moskva is still afloat, then the missiles on the Moskva are reserved for Odessa. Ukraine is winning the media war on all fronts and it has also asked Russia to surrender. The President of Ukraine is the biggest reporter, he frequently comes on TV across the world and reports on the massive Ukrainian victory. But images on the ground show almost every Ukrainian city flattened and battered into rubble. The city of Mariupol has been ripped apart. In a few days, there will be no eastern Ukraine. Odessa is the next target. It should surrender to the Russians before it is too late. All the civilians of Odessa should get out and go to Europe. Almost half of Ukraine has been lost and still the Ukrainians are winning the war. Even with Russia losing the war, Russia is planning to attack Finland and Sweden together, both of whom have enshrined NATO membership in their constitution. That is what Ukraine did and paid the price. God help Finland and Sweden.
