In my opinion, as far as why these entities often appear so similar to humans, is because both are true: we come from the same source, and they want to appear in a way that is familiar to us when doing so fits their needs.

Yes, Jack, can you imagine if we had full disclosure from our government?. The possibilities would be only limited by our imagination. All the federation is waiting for is to have full permission to interact with us as a collective. Think about back in 1980 when three starseeds after working close to 20 years finally contacted a high dimensional civilization in our solar system. So if the TV is at a 12 O'clock position in front of you face a 60 degrees 2 O'clock position away from the TV
Then while keeping eyes focused forwards towards the 2 O'clock position and without moving your eyes back to the TV (as the SPR director kept doing not exactly following my instructions properly) directly then start to notice any TV picture movements from that angle! Like from the corner of your eyes not straight on yet rather from a side 60 degrees peripheral vision angle
60 DEGREE ANGLE OR THEREABOUTS so doesn't have to be exactly 60 degrees

I've wondered, how can anyone classify UFO's as secret? They might as well try to classify the wind or buttterflies as secret. I say that it's actually illegal for the "gateKeepers" to classify UFO's excusively as their secret.
Why bases at the floor of the ocean ? Security, miles of water give a very good protection against catastrophic artificial events (nuclear war) and natural events (impact from meteorite, gamma-ray burst) and probably advanced ET weaponnery we have no idea of. Living on the surface of the Earth is the more risky way to live. Hi Jack… I can update you on the UK position as I have lived here all my life and been studying this subject for 40 years now. Basically there very very few UK politicians that have any inside knowledge or indeed interest about UFOs beyond the giggle factor usual fringe conspiracy theory nonsense … and of the very few that do NONE have the courage to raise the issue in the UK Parliament as heavy UFO giggle factor stigma still rules here. Meanwhile the senior career parliamentary secretary civil servants that do have the issue with n their brief have followed a strong hands off policy for decades and completely defer to the US in terms of any pro active action or disclosure decision making on the subject. They don't want to deal with what they see as a tar baby and are only to pleased to keep schtum and let the US take the flak. In the very early days the BBC… a now largely discredited organisation in terms of its National broadcaster remit, were subject to a national D notice on the subject and even if that does not formally still apply the board of governors still operate that stricture today for National broadcasting policy… even in the face of most recent developments.
