  1. He is only mentioned in 3 historical documents from the time. In 2 he's described as the black slave and the last was written by Nobunaga's son after his death when asked what to do with Yasuke. He very clearly called him little more then an animal and to get rid of him. He was never once reffered to as a samurai in any record and objectively could not have been a samurai due to a lack of a surname. Japan is currently investigating ubisoft in preparation for a lawsuit for cultural and historical revisionism. I hope they win frankly, we are all sick of people trying to rewrite history because a small group of people are so insecure about their races actual diminutive accomplishments.

  2. Seriously, I can't take it seriously that they didn't know anything about the new date they pushed the release of the game to. It's not even a small, insignificant holiday but a national remembrance so I doubt you couldn't find at least one bloody article about it with a quick google search. Or they are just that ignorant and were like "ye this day will do" and didn't do a basic check.

  3. Yasuke only lived in Japan for about 3 to 4 years. So how in the world could he become a full fledge Samurai and fight in a war in that short of a time span? The answers is he couldn't. But sure Ubisoft let's just keep spouting bullshit.

  4. i mean honestly i think it's not that bad, it looks decent but nothing crazy, i think people are just hating on it because what they did before, they are trying their best to fix it, well as they should. a assassin creed game based in japan would be pretty cool, think it's still worth to check out tho.

  5. you know at first i just thought they're just don know any better. i said same thing when at start of ac odyssey spartan king said persian came to slave us. said same thing when first named enemy was named kurush (persian name of cyrus) when for honor released arabian hero and put persian song as theme song when they release viking vargarian guard hero whom looked identical to aswaran of sassanid empire. and refuse to release persian immortal guard . or when they gave immortal guard dreadlocks. you know what i think they hate us, don know why prince of persia help them grow. but i like to see how they would fair with not oppressed ppl of japan whom have time to defend their culture.

  6. Considering I already have Ghost of Tsushima, I am not spending full price on this. It looks like a mediocre experience for a game AC fans have been waiting a while for. Ninja Gaiden 4 is coming out later this year, and it already looks so much better than this.

  7. Developers: "We can't reduce the budgets, we have to increase development time and game price!"

Also developers: "Here's an Assassin's Creed game with Animal Crossing, Nintendogs, and Brain Age games included."

  8. If you are really thinking that The Last Samurai movie is about the white saviour you completely missed the whole point. On the contrary he was saved in every sense of the word by them …..
