U.S. Senate Debate: Marco Rubio vs. Val Demings | Florida Senatorial Debate on WFLA Now

Marco Rubio and Val Demings will meet for their first and only debate on Tuesday as they face off for the opportunity to represent Florida in the U.S. Senate.

Tuesday’s “Before You Vote” debate begins at 7 p.m. ET. It’s being held at Palm Beach State College’s Lake Worth Campus. WPBF 25 in West Palm Beach is hosting and moderating.

There’s a lot riding on the debate for both incumbent Republican Sen. Rubio and his Democratic challenger, Rep. Demings. Rubio is currently ahead in the polls, but Demings hasn’t held back on hammering her opponent when it comes to issues like abortion rights and crime.

  3. Rubio won with articulate answers & knowledge of subject matter plus solutions ; Demmings does not know much, therefore she resorts to personal attacks of Rubio. Same old tired democrat answers; everything is about race, identity and “feelings”.

  4. First Half, since you asked, goes to Rubio. Not because he won, but she definitely had no idea what the heck she was talking about.
Rubio has a bad habit of engaging her purely emotional, poorly thought out, diatribe she has been trained to force everybody to engage in instead of facing a retort. At least she hasn't engaged in abject racism…yet.
Halftime report, because you asked. 😉

  5. 2nd Half. She literally has no solutions, just ad homenem attacks. People that vote for stupid like that are not helpful, no matter how pretentiously they present thier attack. Rubio keeps getting sucked in, but she lost when she made herself a victim and then spewed vitriol in place of argument.

  6. Oprah Winfrey says it will be 'really frightening' if Stacey Abrams doesn't win: 'Too much at stake'.
Oprah is a Dinosaur gone with the past. Another brainwash job.

  7. Rubio did much, much better and very well prepared, knows and can shows works he has done. Demings very aggressive and quickly used her racists cards and that made her look BAD. Using a racists cards nowadays just OLD days garbage and NO one believe it anymore. Playing a racist cards if you don’t have nothing else to defend yourself and that’s what exactly she’s done tonight and that’s a darn shame!
