I like these kind of interviews being way more common nowadays. Never a fan of his gimmicks, but now im a fan of the man, hes a straight up decent dude, keeps it real, and holds himself accountable.

I was kinda ready to be iffy on Tyrus and his business on Fox, but he's really speaking the truth. People shouldn't be governed by people who can be their great-great-grandparents. We don't need career politicians, because they look out for number one and number one only. Otherwise, a fantastic interview.

Speaking as a black man who has been pulled over numerous times by police for just simply being black is what's wrong with policing today. Tyrus (formerly Brodus Clay) is speaking of his life experiences with the police. Unless you are black you will never know what those experiences are like. Every black person that I know can tell you millions of stories of being pulled over for no other reason. I know Chris Van Vliet is interviewing Tyrus (formerly Brodus Clay) about his life experiences since his wrestling days but his experiences are just that his and not ours. Ask any member of The New Day about their experiences with the police or Bobby Lashley and they will present to you a different story. So while people are on here commending him working at a place that aligns with his views just make sure you have that same energy when he interviews BIG E or Xavier Woods and they tell their stories about being black or pulled over. Great interview! CVV has some balls to let Tyrus speak open and honestly. I know it was probably hard to have someone from a different POV then your own get that much opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences while going against the interwebs angry mobs, but kudos to you for doing just that.

How you and you alone changed the state you were in and became determined that you were gonna pull yourself up by your boot straps and continued on no matter what life through you and to make an over used cliché, made lemon add our of all the lemons thrown your way! And even drank it down without sugar! 😖. What a story of victory out of what would have normally ended up in defeat! So admirable Tyrus. What is more admirable is that you are truly humble and meek. He is right that we can have differences even in our own beliefs. I am a staunch Calvinist and Constitutional Conservative who is into Conservation and have always been a Xenophile. But they tell me I hate other races and the environment. Granted, it isn't the conservatives putting me in a box it is universally the progressives.

In the history book entries for Tyrus' bio — Three strong career achievements as wrestler, commentator and author. He seems to be an expert at finding the true silver lining in that one must adapt and learn in order to win the day. I enjoyed his antics on the WWE stage and often agree with his insights on Fox's "Gutfeld!" show. I admire his success with the NWA and his book's reception appears to resonate with many folk, today. Congratulations on your success, Tyrus.
