  1. I can't believe how many times I have seen a video where someone comes out, confronts a LONE cameraman, and asks – "Who are you with?". Can they NOT see that he is alone? I know, what they really want to know is what agency/company do they represent. But, why don't they just ask that instead of – "Who are you with?"?

  2. So, the someone in the Fire Dept. called and asked the police to come and ask someone with a camera, what they are doing on Fire Dept. property (Public Property). Don't fireman know how to ask someone a question? Why do they need the police to ask someone a question that the fireman wants to know the answer to? I want to ask a girl out on a date. Should I call the police to ask her for me? Is that a service the police provide?

  3. It is a VOLENTEER FIRE DEPT.! Did the volunteer's buy their own fire trucks? Did volunteer's buy the land and build the fire station with their own money? It doesn't matter if the fireman/women are not payed, what matters is who payed/pays for the equipment and the building. If it is payed for by taxpayer money, the taxpayers have a right to inspect and record their building and equipment.

  4. When will these police officers figure out that every interaction like this is an audition to keep their jobs?? I guess when the worst case scenario is a ding in their jackets and at worst a transfer to a different dept and knowing tax payers will pick up the tab in civil court, they dont have to learn this lesson.

  5. C'mon, everything doesn't need to be a confrontation. I think some auditors can be honest and say they're stress testing the system or are creating a story based on how leadership reacts to legal activity. If they escalate after that explanation, then you can go into eff you mode.

Remember, the goal is to educate the public, train officers to stop violating rights and build community. You guys will need massive public support when their authoritarian tendencies kick in.

Learn from groups that have done this before, learn from their mistakes, underestimating individuals who use State power to destroy such movements. The Black Panther Party's history can teach auditors what works, what doesn't work or how the State will use propaganda and violence to turn the public against such activity.

  6. Beautifully done. I do have some constructive criticism for you, though. I’m not trying to be a bitch, I’m ONLY trying to help you out. You do know what you’re talking about, but you got the first amendment partially wrong. You said there are 3 or 4 parts to the first amendment, and there are actually 5 elements to the first amendment. You need to be able to know and recite them all, and say it with conviction, rather than like you’re unsure and asking a question. I’m telling you this because I don’t ever want you to be out there auditing, knowing what you’re talking about, trying to educate them about the first amendment, and then sound like you don’t know what you’re talking, because you’re incorrect about it. We’re all one big family and we need to support and help each other, especially if that means we educate each other, because it’s only coming from a place of love and community, and wanting each other to succeed and be effective in what they’re doing. Job well done! Muchos besos.❤️

  7. In-service all these public servants on the constitution, law, and how to interact with the public and repeat it every year. Certify them, and when they infringe on the constitution, they should lose their qualified immunity and be fined personally. This is getting ridiculous that they don't know the constitution they took an oath. They make themselves look stupid. They hate being wrong.
