Fellow Patriots & Freedom lovers, When I saw how the City Of Rochester was treating not only Dan from AEC, but their own constituents as well, I decided to drive upstate to see if We the People could talk some sense into them and educate them on our rights! We need to come together and let this Tyrant City know that we will not tolerate their disrespectful & illegal behavior toward our fellow free man and woman. The Unconstitutional Policy needs to go immediately! We can accomplish this goal together! Peacefully. Let me know your thoughts in the comments! You should follow up by trying to get a meeting with the mayor to address the public access issue. Like you said if you don’t gave standing you can’t file a lawsuit to effect change.

Don't say that you "understand" the policy. That means that you stand under their authority. Also you shouldn't identify as a citizen. A citizen is property of the state. You are a living and breathing man and "legal" does not apply to a man or women.
You can't say that you are not recording while you holding the phone up, just say that the freedom of the press allows you to record.
It looks like you are trying to fool them, even though the United States Constitution gives you the right to record in government areas that are not restricted.

To me, the most disturbing thing about this audit is the behavior of the so-called law enforcement officers. Their lack of interest and lackadaisical attitude is appalling. They swore an oath to the constitution…to protect the rights of citizens. These officers were having none of that! So sad. So very sad.

New York Penal Law § 140.05: Trespass
A person is guilty of trespass when he knowingly enters or remains unlawfully in or upon premises.
Trespass only would apply to restricted areas and would not apply to publicly accessible areas on or within a publicly funded government building
This audit really annoyed me, because like you said the public can but Sean can't cause has a camera. What don't they get?!
I think the best response for the journalist creditials question would be "there is no official governmental office that issues press credentials. There is no such governing body that issues them"
