  1. what more bad-ass than a guardsman with an M16/203 an ancient weapon from ancient terra with powerful magazine packed with 5.56 projectiles and 40mm grenades capable of making even the angels of heaven run for cover.

  2. I cant stand the Nids. There's no drama outside of sheer dread. Theres no emotional action, no heroic duels. Even that fight El Johnson had with the hive tyrant was just him killing a monster. Yeah, his troopers might e been inspired and the fight well written, but theyre just soulless mouths. Never been able to enjoy really anything about them. Theyre a lazy mechanism of plot steering.

  3. Very well done. It explains a lot that I wasn't sure of, like where and when the tyranids first appeared. I'm 71yrs old and have enjoyed 40k since I first saw the game being played at my local comic book store back in the 90s, I think.

  4. Bonus facts: the hive world of Ograhm which was in the same subsector of Sanctum ultimately fell to the Tyranids. Also the Raven guard found a humongous planet sized bio ship. At this point the Imperium’s only hope is for the Mechanicus to fight its way past Vashtorr and the Necrons and get enough black stone to make a bunch of massive anti-psychic weapons to disrupt the hive mind.
