would be cool if you could experiment with a top-down view for the battlefield and a smaller view with the players. Would give a better sense of the game itself rather than watching two people play a game.

A different audio setup is required then probably. Make sure your earth cables are all properly secured, twisted wires are tight and check on extra bluetooth/transceiver things that might be interfering in some way.
