Wouldn’t be the deployment or virus bombs on lost worlds a solution to the tyranid problem?
Even if the tyrands themself would be immune to the virus, the life forms on the planets are not. Therefore every planet which is in the line of defense could be equipped with virus bombs. When the planet is deemed lost, the virus Bombs could be triggered to erase all biomass on the planet by incinerating it. This would stop the access of the tyranids to new biomass.
Wouldn’t this strategy cause big losses on the tyranids with every planet they attack and successfully conquer?
While I am not a huge fan of gullimans character although I do like his effectiveness as a governor so a small part of me is curious about what the setting would look like if gw were willing to kill a character as important as the primarch of the ultra marines. But saving that I hope the lion and maybe another primarch return to fight hivefleet Leviathan perhaps vulkan or the great khan.
Since 'nids are playing more and more with psychic powers I hope they manifest a god in the warp; a god of Hunger.

Ive always thought while admirable the codex was potentially a way for chaos through what seems like a great idea could weaken the chapters. Leaving the lion his rightful role to lead the remaining loyalists. Nothing like another heresy to stir up emotions
I really hope the Space Marines 2 campaign is some really crucial part of the current tyranid war and Titus manages to help the Imperium secure a major victory over the Tyranids Leviathan fleet. Hell if they could let us down a Carnifex with Guilleman as the last boss i would die happy
The Tyranids' chief strength is that the lore has given them a pass on just about every law of nature that would otherwise make them impossible.
All this means is that Imperium is moving or something big will happen since obviously Imperium can’t die lol

I feel like before the tyrannids kill the emperor magnus should appear with all his shattered selves turning out to be a bunch of chaos space marines in armor through warp portals because Ragnar Blackmane somehow inspires Magnus to save the Emperor and because he saves the Emperor. He becomes whole again and the Custodes do an Exorcism killing a few maybe..and return to the Emperor's side standing along side Guilliman…

One small Issue is The Necrons are hell bend on destorying the NIDs because they view humans as a gateway to becoming "human" /flesh again. It may not be the Marines who stop the Nids but the Necrons.
As for guilliman putting up a defence against anyone now is nill mortarion saw to that thank you very much yours sincerely tyranids hive mind lol
Is Guilliman in danger? No. Not while his model sells well.
One of the biggest issues with 40k in terms of the story is that the story itself helps to sell the product. Thereby the story is influenced by money through the miniatures people purchase. That's why they're unable to kill characters in the story that have current and updated miniatures. The best and most up to date miniatures are also going to be the main actors in the story. Thereby making it extremely difficult or imposible for anything high risk to have any real consequences. So no Gulliman, Mortarion etc… won't die. They'll just have their heads decapitated and replaced with new bodies like Ghazkgull and Blackmane.
It's not very grimdark for all the characters to you know… keep living their immortality is kind of making the universe feel I don't know… weak and uninteresting.
Big-G against Tyerinds and Lion against Chaos. Then this time blood angels and Lion come to hlep Big-G in Terra after they take out Albion and brake Chaos SM forces back. Maby Angeron gets a permanent death.
Then this chapter of the story ends when Lion ,Sangnore, gray knights captain and the best Psychic blood angle fight the hivemind of the fleet in a psychic and physical fight that shakes the plant and solor system in a magnificent psychic battle where Lion gets a boost by the Emperor just like how Big-G got against Nurgul and take it out after few hours. This happens after Tyerinds forces gets almost defeated and overwhelmed suprised by new army where the mind has to get in to turn the tided. Where the physic might of it force to push back and almost defeat on Emporium forces on Terra and space of Terra. Then our 3 big boys go to it and fight it.
Also get Gray Knights intervene as the fight came to the solor system and a massive psychic present is near them.
Where Gray knights ,Custodians and sisters of silence hold the line of the golden gates against the super-psychic Alpha Tyerinds. With them some Thunder Warriors that still a life , defending humanity.
Then some Chaos forces sneek and gets intercepted by Silent king ship where some Nacron forces hlep humans to wipe out the remaining leaderless Tyerinds. Doing it for the Blood angles and their Captain.
Yeah, this is just dumb (not the video, the plot). What are you going to achieve by using gasoline to put out a fire? Sending bio mass to stop the Tyranids is no different. The strategy to defeat Leviathan is simple. Take away their ability to refuel. a perimeter of lifeless worlds and Necrons are all it takes to eliminate the Tyranid threat. It is not difficult. You create a dead barrier, and leave a path of living worlds that lead straight to the Necrons. These are tested and proven war strategies used for centuries.
Where is the webway chamber in the imperial citadel relative to the throne room? I'd be super excited to see some sort of heated discussion between Guilliman and Johnson in front of Custodians guarding the Throne room and the Khan dips out of the webway gate.
Still relatively new to the series overall so I don't know if any of what I said is even possible
