  1. Wild Idea:

This could be the year someone shithouses a championship.

Let’s not forget: Chase Briscoe won at Phoenix earlier this year, and has been fast on flat ovals. If he can shithouse his way into the final round, look out….

  2. Bear in mind that the worst finish for Ross at the following three tracks is 17th at Homestead, but that's after qualifying 32nd at CGR last year. Decent qualifying and he's certainly able to finish in the Top 10 and if not get some stage points to cushion. Martinsville this year he was 5th and at Vegas he was 3rd. Then keep in mind that he was 2nd at Phoenix…he's the Championship favorite

I'm thinking Ross, Elliot, Blaney, and Bell. Keep your eyes on Briscoe though, cause if he manages to weasel his way into Phoenix well…who won Phoenix this Spring?

  3. Elliott, Bell, Blaney, Hamlin. Bell wins it all, people sleeping on Bell. Quietly having a really good year, statistically, the best year out of anybody behind only Elliott who obviously is the clear favorite. Being a favorite doesn't mean much in this format though and with these cars where anybody could win on any given week and you can be taken out of it just by tapping the wall and bending a tie rod or control arm which could very easily happen at Homestead or even Vegas for that matter. The drivers that advanced are the ones that haven't messed up too badly in the playoffs. Larson messed up and he's out with some help from Custer playing moving roadblock to help Briscoe advance. There's so many variables especially this year that makes it so hard to predict. Nobody had Briscoe making the round of 8 and Larson not making it and yet here we are.

  4. I predict the least amount of people ever will attend and watch the championship race.
stop it with the “chase” and knock off these silly stage races… make a season actually matter and maybe your fans will return.

  5. which cookie cutter team will prevail? they’ve had to manage to win at least one race… so sure they deserve to be champ…(I have no context for this comment seeing as I have seen about 1% of this season)
    End The Chase
    Stop the Stages
    A Season makes a champion
    I miss real Nascar.
