Great jeep cruise, I do miss an old test drive with I think a Jeep in South East Arizona, that trip was A place I would to see in person……. 🙂
Was that a North Dakota license plate?
All that fun a pay check to? Your living the dream.
https://youtube.com/@thedirtheadshed 🤘🏻😎
When you're crawling in a stick shift, are you just barely letting the clutch pedal out, without throttle?
Glad to see some 4 wheeling. I canceled my subscription after they ended DED
Real men live in sandals!!! Sxck it haters!!!
The yellow jeep is a straight rookie. Acts like destroying a engine is no biggie than crys later.
Put good heads and exhaust in that thing with FastEFI and it would absolutely SLAP 😎
I miss dirt daily )
How did you think the Scrambler handled going off-road?
Water crossings, friendly rewinder go slow go slow save yourself a bunch of headaches in the end. End of discussion on that one. I had an m38j Willys jeep for about 20 years with an F head engine in it put that thing in four-wheel-drive low range first gear. It would crawl up just about anything. It was sure slow going, but it would go was very fast down the road in high gear and highway range, but it was sure fun to drive out in the desert Did pretty good in the sand dunes out at Glamis and out in the chocolate mountains to lotta fun back in the day 70s and 80s and 90s even with my blazer my 1977 blazer lotta fun but water crossings you go slow so you don’t drown the engine out and keep track of the water level number one rule for me when crossing water along with how fast the water is running as well.
dave does not know how to cross water in a jeep lol
Where does David have all his cars and motors
Love that your keeping it real with admission of neglect and then revitalizing. I want to see how far the Zip tie moved after all that
How did it get out of that hole?
That thing is cool. Needs fuel injection though.
What’s that charger in the beginning of the video?
Moab sucks!! Tell your friends!
Awesome footage! I think some of the story got funky, Chapelle was driving it down the road on the way to Moab when Cotton and Frieberger started the trip 🤣
More scrambler content needed . Love the jeep…
I wondered how it magically got more green the last time we saw the CJ
Always get a kick out of leaf spring rigs killing it. Leaf springs can work very well.
Steve’s jeep overhaul to
Jeeps suck off road
I noticed south Dakota plates on frieburgers jeep
Jackstands!?? We no need no stinking jackstands!!

The tires feel good, yeah. They're new, treps. Not the old swampers

Every time I look at my project I think “it’s okay, I can take 20 years”
I've got a 75 scout II sping over d60s 345 gas T19 twin stick dana 300 4:1. Love the scrambler. What size are those stickys?

It's great seeing Cotton and Dave again.
When Cotton said<" Why'd you just real talk me?" that loooook!!
Don't worry i changed the oil for you when you weren't looking.
I remember seeing this thing over the years in Peterson's and various other rags. Totally old school build, with old school tech, and it still works just fine.

It makes me want to take my old truck out on the trails.
I want a CJ7 or CJ8 just like that. Great drivetrain.
Very cool Jeep, trade you a TJ for it.
