  2. Okay I'm in Jersey new, so I guess we're done with the snow here. Thank God. Nonetheless, I'm kind of disappointed. Instead of only entertaining 4 inches of snow total, it sure would have been nice to have nothing, so then I could claim I lived in a zero snow fall winter. Better luck next year

  3. Spent a couple of days up in Montreal this past weekend and I told my brother and my spouse that it is going to snow they didn't buy it or sneakers and I had my mountain boots. Pretty obvious as to whose feet stay dry and warm for the weekend. We have a low pressure with coming through tonight likely going to produce some snow specially the higher elevations. This will be mostly south of the lakes region so if you're in the monadnock area elevations of save fifteen hundred feet or more might get up to 3 in. Those of us in the lowlands like where I am in Nashua unless it comes down really hard it'll be maybe just some snow in the air but the potential is there for maybe an inch or so even here. Still not buying it that winter is totally done here I think we still have a possibility of getting some snow within the next 3 weeks. More often than not we do get snow in April. Within the first 10 days of April there is a one-in-ten chance of getting six to 12in of snow. After April 15th that percentage drops a lot. Our largest late April snowfall in my memory, was April 29, 1987. We had 12 to 30 in of snow depending on elevation. We had about 15 in of snow in Nashua which brought down virtually all the power lines and nearly all of the phone lines. It was what I call a robber's paradise because there was no power. So criminals basically had the night of their lives for the few that actually did go out.

  4. Pow Ponder, respectfully, your explanation for the cause of tornadoes is inaccurate. Meteorology admits it does not KNOW what causes tornadoes. I believe I have the answer, but I have put off sharing my ideas as of yet. Please do not take this as an insult. I have great respect for your skills.

  5. I know this sounds dangerous but I hope I get to see maybe some large hail in Georgia on Saturday because it would be crazy/entertaining to get these high precipitation severe thunderstorms
