Hey, Tim Allen is looking for an electric AC compressor for The Vik…
Do you think that 1 air tank will be enough?
Try using just one MAF sensor. Both bank's will have the same air? Use the weakest bank… or the strongest for deciphering. Or build an X pipe to equalize Both plenums?? 🤪
Why not run a hydraulic pump off the transmission? Pto style. And use quick release fittings that hook up to the ram
Lmao still gets me laughing at your reaction when it barks right off and runs 😛
Wouldnt you want the hanger bearing on the front section of the rear shaft? That way as the suspension moves the rear can utilize the slip yoke and the pivot point? Currently as the suspension flexes isnt it going to tear up the hanger bearing?
I was waiting for rich to start cutting the axle shaft with the bandsaw. I knew it wouldn't work since I have tried something similar in the past. And also had to cut it with a grinder.
Lose the wrecker thing, way better looking without it.
That unit is by far my favorite build, I have a soft spot for vintage trucks.
Enjoy your XMas break everyone!
Love the build can’t wait too see it roll. What are you doing for air intake? Can’t your mad go in there??
👍👍
You need to hook up with @touquesandtires again, he just put a flip front on his panel truck – looks pretty sick
just went and binged all the previous videos of this. this thing deserves WAYYY more of your time. by far your coolest build.
Usually sensors, electronics can be used single or in 4’s 2 series the the 2 series in parallel = same resistance and curve
Definitely my favourite Deboss project!
I'm surprised your not going with a hotshot pto and pump. Need something with the volume and power for your future jaws of life.
Through put electronic that will double the value of the single MAF sensor?
I have used numerous electric ac compressors and they have many drawbacks. Most of the good electric ac compressors are 400 volt units. I have the used the 12v and 24v masterflux sierra ac compressors and they have a very large amp draw along with a limited cooling capacity.
There is a module that truly combines 2 maf sensors into a single ecu input. I have used them a couple of times. The one that I use is programmable so you can properly scale the sensors.
