As the bombardment and invasion of Iraq unfolded, KGW’s Pat Dooris was on an aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf. His brother, an F-18 pilot, was stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln, which played a pivotal role in those early days of the war. Here’s a look back at Pat’s reporting.

WMDs in Iraq didn't exist even though President Bush Sr. gave Saddam Hussein many if not most of the components to make a nuclear bomb when he was encouraging him to attack Iran and he did, the Iran Iraq War. Bush Jr. thought Saddam Hussein had WMD because Bush Jr. is incompetent and probably was born that way and that isn't being mean because most everyone in his generation was born incompetent due to the settle fact of history of how much toxic heavy metal was in the air and water after WW2 and the industrialization after that.

    Also, everyone knows the Baby Boomers did a lot of drugs and even if they didn't most Baby Boomers at one time insisted experimenting with drugs was the cool thing to do. So its a settled fact of history that generation is largely incompetent due to toxic heavy metal and drug exposure. Too bad too because being wrong about WMD was horrible for all Humanity and I think its obvious the CIA is too.

  2. Super interesting archived video, i was barely 5 when this all happened. Don’t remember a time we weren’t at war, it was just something normal, as normal as Portland rain.
