TV Licence. – Red letter time



So here we go again with another letter – so im going to take their own advice and just ignore it – nah where’s the fun in that lol πŸ™‚

  1. Just ignore the letters that come through to you. If you watch live sports on BBC you need to pay, I haven’t watched television since my wife died fourteen years ago. Besides these goons that turn up at your door are just sales people. I advise everyone to just ignore them, and politely tell them your not interested in purchasing a license….!!

  2. I've been ignoring them and lately returning their letters with Foxtrot Oscar on them but I'm thinking of complaining to the police about harassment and malicious communications. They will try to fob me off but if everybody did this and kept complaining they would do something about it to get us off their backs.

  3. Interesting to hear about the differences in Scottish and English law regarding this. I haven't watched live TV since 2012, I did the no license needed thing when I moved house (not that I was legally required to do so) and what incensed me is that they said they may still come round and check. Since then I have never done the online exemption, why should I? I am now getting the red letters made to look scary but couldn't give a ha'penny toss anymore! πŸ™‚
