I don't support Trudeau and for the ridiculous statement he made here, but the "freedom convoy" had nothing to do with freedom protests, while they occupied the streets of Ottawa and harassed the folks who lived there for weeks. It was the useless Ottawa cops that allowed the occupation to happen, that led to the chief of police to resign and emergency laws to be introduced to end it.

I used to think the Canadian Bill of Rights and Freedoms was an important document protecting Canadians. Trudeau has since proven it has less value than a used piece of toilet paper.
What no one seems to want to disclose, is what Peterson actually said, which is being objected to. There's a lot of reaction to it, but without saying what it is.
I can't agree it's any kind of wrong, or overreach, for the panel to demand training, if I don't know what was said to spark the claim.
By the way, this isn't exactly a "free speech" issue. It's one of professionalism. When a person seeks a certain license, that person agrees to a certain level of conduct, in relevant issues. Sure, a political opinion ought to be fair game, but we have no basis on which to decide if that's all it was. Not until the quotes are brought out for use to examine.
