Trying Out Humble Bundle April 2024 Choice!

1. The Callisto Protocol (2022) – Reminds me of Dead Space. Didnt play enough to have an opinion but the controls are goofy. Probably will play some more to see the story but at 75 Gigs it prob wont stay. There will be blood. 7/10

2. Coromon (2022) – Flagrant Pokemon clone! But seems cute and fun. Nice humor. Never been into pokemon games but if you are might like it. Prob fun on steam deck. Not for me though, wont play it again. 7/10

3. The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow (2022) – Adventure point and click, reminds me of a SCUMM game. Believe it or not so far this is my favorite game of the month! Very interested in how the story plays out. Archologist arrives at a small village and getting a horror game vibe upcoming. Got me hooked in 30 min. Will definitely keep playing. 9/10

4. Fashion Police Squad (2021) – I honestly dont get this game. Its a FPS shooter where you shoot enemies to make them better dressed? I dunno? But there are so many better retro FPS’s to play. Reminds me of Chex Quest of Blakestone for some reason. Will actually play a bit more ONLY cause I want to see if there are new weapons and enemies but meh. Wont stay.
*updated. Ok it got better. There’s a rock-scissor-paper thing with the weapons later on where only a specific weapon hurts a specific enemy. And you can swing around like Bionic Commando. 5/10

5. Humankind (2021) – Seems like an exact civilization clone. Wont stay. 4x games not for me. More meh. Great graphics though! If you love civilization youll dig this. Everything after Civ 2 made my brain hurt :/ 4/10

6. Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga (2022) – Simple Turn-based game you’d find as a mobile app. But my 2nd favorite game! Just shows how basic games can be greater than the 100 million$ AAA Callisto Protocol. Will keep on computer and play on and off. Good stuff. 8/10

7. Terraformers (2023) – Another civ like game like Humankind, but I like it more, maybe cause your on Mars and its much simpler. Prob wont play again but nothing wrong with it. 7/10

8. Victoria 3 (2022) – Im too stupid to play paradox games like Victoria. Thats the honest truth. SO MANY THINGS TO KEEP TRACK OF! It’s like being asked to fly a crashing plane with a billion buttons in front of you. Another civ like game but more simulation than just turned based. BUT.. I am really impressed by the game, its crazy how much work and detail went into it. I was having fun just checking out the map and viewing all the countries that were in the Victorian age. But as for a game it wont stay. Mostly cause it crashed!!! 5/10

——————————-
Thought Assassins Creed Valhalla was this months game but I was April Fool-led. Very meh month.
Worth it? Honestly prob not. Unless you were itching for Callisto Protocol or Victoria 3. At only 13$ definitely worth it for either game. Good bundle for Civ lovers.
