  1. ❤Hey Kackie. Would love your high end foundation suggestion – my daughter is getting married this summer. I'm in southern Ontario – at the Detroit border – so it will be humid! I'm 55 with normal cool toned skin with a few age spots and well deserved fine lines. I would of course love a natural look, and mainly concerned with the photos (I don't normally wear foundation – just primer😉. I'm a beauty enthusiast and I'm especially excited that I have the excuse to treat myself🎀

  2. It made me tear up a little, that you were not named for The Kevyn exactly, but carry his name, and I think you do his legacy proud. I wasn't an MUA, but followed Pat, Mally, & Kevyn through fashion mags and style news…he would have loved so much of this funky little corner of the beauty world. And you have such a great 90s vibe, you would have been right at home as a 20 year old in 1993 lol… PS I get confused for a trans gal too 🙂 at least we get "lumped in" with some cool ass people

  3. "Are you trans?" As a comment, wow. Then again, most of my life I've gotten comments irl like "were you born a man?" "Are you a tr***y?" "Did you adopt your kids?" Etc because my facial structure is decidedly "masc" & I've always dressed & "acted" androgynous. It never annoyed me when I was younger but now I'm like HOW DARE YOU. First of all, it's none of your fkn business & second of all, you do not ask people stuff like that. It's wildly ignorant imo! Btw, thanks for letting us know about the sea urchins wearing hats, that made my entire fkn day 🫶

  4. Thank you so so much for recommending the Givenchy concealer!! My biggest problem area/insecurity by FAR is my dark circles. I’ve tried sooo many concealers and totally agree that this one is special! Also glad that you pointed out the cost per ounce thing, which is particularly relevant when comparing to the Kosas, since their concealers have such a tendency to go bad (especially in the warmer months that are approaching)!

  5. I'm so glad that Kackie recommended the Maintenance Phase podcast: I've been binging it over the last month or so. My chronic health issues conspired against me at 29/30/31 and the show has really helped me rethink ideas about myself and body neutrality. AAAND it's so funny!

  6. The LH Fantasticks are my favorite thing! I’ve gone through the shade Famous multiple times and will never stop buying it. They just look so perfect on the lips – done but not over done

  7. Shade name “zero cool” made me giggle. Ive seen Hackers way too many times…. I always miss your this or that prompts so I’m just gonna throw them out there now. I need VBB primer vs MAKE reverse emulsion, you make them both sounds so amazing for dry skin. And rare beauty skin tint vs Laura Mercier light revealer. Please and thank you!!

  8. That Byredo palette has become so alluring to me for reasons I can’t fully articulate to myself. I broke down a few days ago and tried to make my own vibe-duping palette of singles and start using it ahead of seeing your review. I love what I put together but still feel like there’s some subtlety of basic-bish wearability my collection cannot capture. Why is it like this?! Like I want to physically jump into those pans.

  9. Oh I really wanted to love the guerlain foundation but the fragrance is different to the fragrance it’s in the l’essentiel which is the fragrance that I really like, so the new foundation just bothered me and didn’t dissipate at all😢

  10. You're such an inspiration! Love that you do what makes you happy. More importantly, love that you are transparent about it! It's almost always obvious to me when people have work done but I think it can be damaging to others — including some of the most beautiful 30 somethings I know — when they don't realize that's the case.

  11. Yes!! Being in your 30s is great! It’s silly that we often think our life and vibrancy are over after 29. I’ve followed you for years and I can genuinely say you’ve never looked better!!

  12. Wow, Kackie. I mean absolutely gorgeous. You look beautiful and I love the part where you fought the look to bend to your will until you have magic. That was the most informative and educational part of this video for me. ❤❤❤ beautious

  13. The thought of you feeling un-beautiful or feeling expired… I can't imagine.

I think your bone structure is so interesting, it's like art! Your features are very feminine, delicate eyes and vivacious lips. And your bone structure is a contrast that looks so balanced in a very beautiful way.
    You epitomize "face art"!

  14. I remember the first time she told us all her name really is Kevyn and not Kackielle or Kackiette or Kackette or Kääck as I imagined , I was shooketh to the core but I learned to live with it ✨✨✨

  15. Wow, I apparently, am also not a team player. I got in trouble for saying, I work here, you are my coworkers, not my friends (when asked why I didn't want to go to outside of work functions).

  16. Sorry Kackie… no eye look is worth that much work. It’s pretty, but ffs, you shouldn’t need to dabble for two hours until you find something you’re happy with. That’s nuts.
