Great idea whilst people can't keep them themselves warm. Did anybody notice the General say that the Ukrainian army has lost the equivalent of the entire standing army of the UK ? This figure is 10x what the main stream media, and the government admits to.
stop foreign aid, stop paying for thousands upon thousands of un documented illegal immigrants, stop sending ukraine millions of £ worth of weapons and we should have a few quid to spend on what we need

Defence that's a joke, can't even stop a invasion by rubber dinghy's, and yes it is a invasion pure and simple, with the help of our military, madness utter madness.

I would also question the motivations of those people. Some of them will simply be idiot beancounters who know the cost of everything and the value of nothing. However there is also the serious danger of treason involved as well. Russian or Chinese agents pushing to cripple our armed forces.
Truss promises, Truss delivers….nothing. 3% is not enough. It needs to be 5% paid for by the fat cats.

Sorry – is truss saying increase the current Defence budget BY 3% or FROM 2% to 3% of GDP?
Since we have sent most of our arms stores to Ukraine I guess she needs to recoup that cost to restock for OUR DEFENCE.
But will she root out wokery in the Armed Forces and bring back recruitment based on good old fashioned meritocracy.
Will she also defend our Southern Shores effectively by not allowing any of the dinghies to land.
For years the British Services have been starved of everything. Now UK Defence is based on all fur coat and no knickers
