  2. Your meal is $10.50
Sorry, all I have is $4.35
I want everyone else in this restaurant to pay the remaining $6.35 so I can everything I want.
This is the shithole countries demanding the US put up the most money as well as the strongest military force without paying their share that the US really doesn't need for defense.
    Make sense now?

  3. as an american vet i’m 200% behind leaving nato, it’s been nothing but a tool of abuse that the elites use to transfer wealth, destroy competition and enforce their prerogatives. how many wars and lives will nato cost in the end? besides, decades of lax european defense spending has screwed the american tax payer out of many of the opportunities the europeans alternatively put their money toward. no more paying for other nations bills!

  4. people need to think different …….know how you are manipulated…….when you understand war is big buisness…….land grabs power over people………when people support war from propaganda to get you to tow the line……the insecurity of humanity is paramountly manipulated

  5. American blood & treasure has been repeatedly sacrificed on the altar of european freedom for way too long. World War I, World War 2, the Cold War, and now the very real possibility of war with Russia to defend a europe too lazy & complacent to do what’s necessary to ensure their freedom & survival.

It’s about damn time that America puts AMERICANS FIRST.

  6. If countries repeatedly miss their mark of contributing 2% of their GDP to their militaries, which is a standard set for countries to be a part of NATO, then how and why should the rest of NATO honor their agreement to defend them if a situation ever happens where article 5 were to be invoked?

The vast majority of people who vote, let alone voters within the democrat party in America or other similar left-wing political parties of countries that belong to NATO don't know shit about NATO, especially the younger voting bloc that was born well after the Cold War.

Pisses me off how these left-wing politicians and their propaganda machine (the legacy media) get away with lying like they do.

  7. As Slovakian, a relatively poor country and managed to pay its NATO defense bills, I'm actually with Trump on this. Why would we who are poor as church mice, pay for countries that are several times more economically powerful than us, in case they get attacked by Russia? Why would we do that to you? You don't give a shit about it now, so don't cry if that happens. I hate Trump, can't stand the guy, but he got this one right.

  8. The dangerous thing about Trumps statement is, that the devil is in the detail. What is left for far to many is the impression that the European countries would not pull their weight, which is not true, no matter how you look at it. For a bit of context:
Uk military Budget: 58 billing USD a year

German military Budget: just increased to 107 billion USD a year

France military Budget: increased to 49 billion in a new plan to spend an additional 400 Billion to update all the equipment in the next few years

This is by no means peanuts. The existing EU armies are mostly designed to ramp up if required. Even though, the current position is not weak by any means:

    UK Army:

    Challenger 2 213

    Ajax (Armoured Fighting Vehicle) 44

    Warrior (Infantry fighting vehicle) 625

    Bulldog (APC) 746

    German Army:

    The Leopard 2 328 (total production 3,600)

Marder 362 (2,137 Marders built in total, 2,097 vehicles were upgraded to the Marder 1A3)

Puma 350 (50 Pumas are mentioned to cost 1,5 billion Euros)

Wiesel 1/2 (Armored weapons carrier with TOWs that are currently getting replaced by MELLS) ~400

GTK Boxer (APC modular weapons carrier) 403

    French Army:

AMX 56 Leclerc 222 Leclercs (with 184 more in storage, for a total of 406)

    VAB (APC) 2500

    VBMR Griffon (APC) 575

AMX 10 RC (Light tank) 208

    EBRC Jaguar (scout tank) 60

    Italien Army:

Ariete (MBT) 200 (125 To be upgraded)

B1 Centauro (Wheeled Tank Destroyer) 259

    Dardo (Infantry fighting vehicle) 198

    VBL Puma 6×6 (APC) 360

    Polish Army:

K2 Black Panther (56 K2 tanks slated for 2024 delivery, 96 in 2025) Number is complicated as this tank is in teh process of being delivered

    M1 Abrams 116x M1A1 FEP, 28 x M1A2 SEPv2, 250 currently upgraded to M1A2 SEPv3

    Leopard 2 Total of 312

    T-72 as version A,M,M1,M1D and M1R, approx. 111

There are around 34.000 other armoured vehicles in European NATO states, not to mention hundreds of pieces of mobile Artilery, Mortars and Rocket Artillery. Germany for one, stores vast quantities of older equipment in none military installations and building to hide the true capacities. It is estimated that Germany alone could equip 20 Million soldiers if needed, without producing a thing.

  9. I dont agree with Trump, but he has a point definitely. Lots of NATO members are too cosy under the umbrella of the NATO and dont take care even the war of Ukrain seriously which is at their backyard. Today even the 2% of the GDP is very small to develop our defense force. We need a real army, with modern effective weapon systems and an iron wall against nuclear ICBM type weapons. It worth it clearly. Putin is like Hitler clearly seeking world dominance and he has millions of zealots to waste on the battlefields.

  10. Could the US survive without NATO keeping eyes and ears on the Atlantic approaches to the US? Just one Russian 'boomer' parked offshore poses a much bigger threat than the Cuban crises. Without NATO the Atlantic seaboard of the US is likely to become a Russian sub park. To replace NATO in this role would be very expensive.

  11. well in my eyes what Trump did is "lemme play the vilian" big brain move. Even not being president he made such an impact that if every country gets it's shit together and let's say every NATO country decides to buckle up militarily – then let's see then how confident Russia will be about invading the rest of the EU continent… That's actually quite brilliant.

  12. Ukraine is not in Nato, Russia doesn't want a war in Europe, Nato promised to never move toward the East not even an inch. Russia has stood by its promises in that agreement, Nato has done nothing but gradually inch eastward and break every part of the agreement.

  13. Holy shit, i know usa loves guns, but let other countries spend what they want. You are not "paying our bill" like so many here say. NATO is better for USA then some of the weak nato countries. The political power and goegrafical advantage from weak members are more important to the US then the US army is for us.
