  1. Excuse me? Can we please refrain from politicizing these innocent celebrants losing their lives? They are just as dead, just as taken from us suddenly, their loved ones just as devastated – whether they voted red or blue. Incredibly poor taste, on the part of any individual who tries to make this about something else…

  2. …and through no fault of their own, many of the folks injured will, in the coming months and years, be crippled with outrageous medical bills. Some will lose their homes, some will lose their jobs and credit. They will be set upon by creditors, debt collectors and scammers. Let us talk about that. We grieve of the horror now, but what of the horrors yet to come for the survivors? Will the crushing debt of their medical bills be reported in the coming years? Soon, you will find many of these folks begging for money on a GoFundMe account to cover their medical bills, feed their kids, or to keep their house. Our government has failed our people.

  3. Everyone come to N.O. and go to the game and have some fun. Just stay away from downtown and Bourbon street. Because it's dangerous to even drive around N.O. any day of the week. Especially on holidays and weekends and week days.

  4. This reminds me of a vehicle-ramming attack occurred on April 23, 2018, when a rented van was driven along the business district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The driver, 25-year-old Alek Minassian, targeted pedestrians, killing 11 and injuring 15, some critically. The incident was the deadliest vehicle-ramming attack in Canadian history.
