I Like it. Looks cool
Yakuza gameplay with Scott Pilgrim art….. it's nice, wish they could have went Hi-Fi Rush gameplay aesthetic with the Scott Pilgrim art for dialogue.
It's like a Bully version or Yakuza, with a cool Indonesian setting that's nice to see. It's cool to see more Asian settings and influences nowadays; I grew up with Japanese games and that's cool, but I do really like seeing Chinese and Taiwanese devs putting out stuff like Genshin Impact or Sword & Fairy Together Forever nowadays, and stuff like this or DreadOut 2 showing off Indonesian culture. I dig it.
I just don't get the use of anime/cartoon-style key art and portraits but the realistic in-game visuals. I would not mind more stylized in-game stuff; be more exciting, dynamic and bold. If they realized those key art designs in 3D, the devs would push this towards something like GenoKids or Uppers or something, and that would be pretty cool!
Still this looks nice! I'm a fan of 3D beat 'em ups. Wishlisting!
