For the father who stopped parenting because the wife cut off parenting of the father. Yes he is petty, but from what the WIFE said about the conversation … SHE HAS OBVIOUSLY CUT the father off from parenting MULTIPLE TIMES. She got what she wanted … and as usual … will not take responsibility for HER actions.
I salute the father who gave all parental rights to the mother. She crossed the line & she has to accept the consequences to her actions. She undermined her husband. Hell, I would've done the same exact thing.
What I would tell her to do is humble herself and apologize and tell her husband how sorry she is and that she is wrong and will NEVER interfere with his disciplining the children again.

You have a child that is an inexperienced driver, hitting speeds of at least 90 mph, while texting and using both hands. The Father saw his son causing a major accident where he could of been seriously injured, killed someone, or end up dead. The Father's decision was to demonstrate a small lesson in responsibility and consequences because the real world wouldn't give AF. They would treat that child as an adult if he wiped somebody out. Now you have a Mom that doesn't see why the Father is being so harsh and undermines the Father. This is highly disrespectful and I would be willing to bet a years salary, that his reaction of giving up is because she has a trend of doing this.
At this point, you really have to question the way that men are raised that they accept such poor treatment. Marrying a modern women is like adopting a stepchild.

It's not just single moms that do that to step dad's, it's all of them that undermine their husband's constantly when it comes to discipline doesn't matter if the kid(s) are biologically his or not.
