  1. Sorry Chris, but solar gensets suck ass. A battery bank is your best option. Let the panels keep the or replenish the battery bank. But you have to do the math and find peak wattage and average so you can calculate average wattage usage. So when you sleep, it recharges, etc…. It's a math game. Then you have to build your battery bank according to you peak wattage and average. Build them, with 6 volt batteries, which are not cheap. Connect in series to build up your amperage, then connect the sets in parallel to get your voltage. Also a windgen is good to charge with when all you have is wind and limited sunlight. But also, it works at night to charge the battery bank.

  2. Chris, your going to get a lot of advise on solar, probably more than you want. Anyway you cut and dry it, a 5kw system which will handle all your needs for where you are will run you around $4,000 US installed. In the Philippines please dont use anything but Motolite batteries (lead acid) lithium ion batteries are too expensive and really not as reliable. I don't care what anyone says, this price is for a good system. You know you can buy cheaper here but you get what you pay for. ROI will be 3.5 years. Right now with the electric rate at .34 cents per kw which is the 3rd highest in the world it's easy to run a P14K/ $240. to P18K/$360. per month bill.

  3. Hi Chris, I've already seen some complicated conversations about solar. Solar panels, all-in-one solar controller battery charger and inverter with all the safety equipment you need built in and two 12-volt batteries is all you need for what you want as a backup I'm not sure if you can leave links in the comment section if not I will try and send you an email I'll ๐Ÿ‘ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403948523973?hash=item5e0d3551c5:g:PLYAAOSwIlVjT-uQ&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAABIBqKBKxlcllz2PliwYr0qsyQipccO3zNpXpJCo%2B%2BloX5u2exCJrUelckEPaSjVurVnNvDZCwgMPcW9dkV7Dlb487FgKeNyphUwtX8MOb8IeqIwSTwGQqoAItON%2BPaXn8wqSnXxx8HNDOUUKAi0XYeCl%2F8AyCPJVKv9kWMYC6k2EvwsKl26vVWJioNfIde6CCWRwatMcrk5%2FzmOivxBVxC46h1iYz7j1mGbinMFLqJqcnTx9Op%2BH59Y4t4pw44ZCWWfwVgEEgkKaim3j3QgNAzXz9usfRLsZas9bq%2F%2FVqxcOIxMFUfn7eWDBgXMEvcjNSoYc4D9ArPBIiEb3m%2BLiB50sioV5kKRwk5M5q138OZKYrdbp1dvD5NraqvNEL%2BKYQvA%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBM3vSWwYNh
