  1. Hey Demone. Thanks for pumping out content so often. My company loves linking your vids! I'll be out of town next week so you will be my main source of New World. Thank you again!

  3. Demone,
Glad to see you got around to this topic. You'll find my comments on the previous videos in regards to this topic very specifically. One thing to note, all the manual labor looking into buckets and loot pools as well as to identify where those conditional buckets/pools come into play are all laid out in NWDB! No Harvard degree required to understand it (if anyone is into the data don't bore yourself with an SVC file unless you REALLY want to). They do a FANTASTIC job on conditionals. They even recently added in the luck conditional besides items so that information is now actually accessible to everyone not just those of us that have scoured the data sheets. None of that extra work was required, unless they just wanted to verify that the same data mine information was used (it is the same data mine information EVERYONE has so yes its accurate). Some things not mentioned in the Map Genie site is chests that are not within 'mob zones' that easily designate levels to those chests (one note worthy chest in this category is actually the large chest just to the west of the weavers northern TP shrine off that rock outlook above the waterfall) that chest is unmarked, but is actually around a level 36 chest and you can determine this by the mob levels in the general area as well as the level of equipment you can get from this chest. This applies to any un-zoned chest that you cannot identify the level of because of the overall region level range. Look around and try and deduce in that way, and if you can't pop it open and if you get any equipment check the level – if its in the range you need add it to your list (trial and error can come into play here as the weavers chest I mentioned above has dropped 34 gear for me initially but as I continued to log my drops I have since received gear up to level 36 within that chest as well as T4 regents (conditional for 34+ level chest)
Specifically for those folks looking for 55+ chests (or anything that drops in the sub level chests for larges – get all your epic and legendary trophy mats and even T4 and T5 cooking recipes) I have mapped a run in Ebonscale and a few other locations. Go to the Traveler's Shrine in Northern Ebonscale, fall down the mountain into the corrupted section to the west, clear it all and loot everything. 175 mining? Get that ore too. Clear it all loot all the things then loop around more west block jump up the rocks in the corner and head to the next little corrupted zone north, clear it all hear and then fall off the tallest building at the end and walk straight towards Skysong. Clear all of Skysong and if you are worthy enough kill the 2 named 60s at the very end loot the chests there as well and jump off the back side of the 'arena' into the watery depths below and travel towards the building to the north across the water (it shallows as you go and you shouldn't drown unless you do anything but go in a straight line). Loot the few chests hear and then head off to meet our buddy Ivan. Go NE into the Church kill Ivan, or simply sneak around him if you are scared for whatever reason, and then loot these chests. Entire thing should take around 30min or so depending on how many mobs you decide to clear. 19 large chests (no elites) in a relatively small area making this farmable (most amount of large chests in a relatively condensed area that are 55+ that I can locate which are solo friendly). There are also many great little places in Reekwater with a large amount of large chests as well, but you may find a bit more difficulty getting to ALL of them if you solo.

  4. The shield's attributes no longer count towards your overall attributes unless you're actively using it from what I can see. I don't believe the perks count either (for example, luck).

  5. Slightly off topic- where should I get my first house? I assume I should do it at my “hub” which has high tier stations and most trading activity. And I assume I should buy the most expensive one? Where is it best to put my inn?

  6. what i dont get is how you know the level of the chest, for example you are talking about your weaver route and that only the chests in the north are worth looting in this case, how do you know the level? And which filters do I use on mapgenie? I cant set the lvl range of the chests properly or did I miss something ? Other than that very informative video again.
