Fun fact, the Winged Eagle did not debut on Saturday Nights Main Event, it actually debuted on The Main Event, which was on a Friday night. And if you can find the video of Hogan’s interview with Mean Gene, he’s wearing the Hogan 86, and when his music hits and he walks out, he’s wearing the Winged Eagle. I hope that’s what we are getting!
When he looks straight into the camera, we, as his fans, he says, does everything with the smirk smile 🔥🔥brilliant editing with the sound effects. This promo was simply yet the idea, the message is priceless.

Keeping the winged eagle for the foreseeable future gives so much prestige, its also what it calls back to and the story having that belt creates, i believe they should’ve stopped producing new belts after the attitude era. You look at sports and they keep those trophies and belts and adds to the history.
The new championship is a flashy design but it dont hold any weight, soon as he had that belt you could feel the weight in it, it’s importance and its history.
I hope triple h and the top brass change their mind, i imagine when ever a new champion wins they can on raw the night after winning, show them drawing on a plaque in WWE headquarters, they dont have to do this every time but, but after big wins at wrestlemania they could do this, also going into the history and triple h handing it to them giving a mission brief of what they expect from their champion.
It would be a great call back to the mcmahon austin fued too, but without it being a storyline, but more bigging the belt up, selling what it means and the weight it carries.
Anyway rant over, just bring the belt back WWE!
