  1. I paused this stream and I went and watched “The Witness” it was so sad to see that even still to this day her brother was still not able to get the entire story. As they didn’t want to be miss quoted. Or for there own reasons. Loved the conversation when I came back to this stream.

  2. Remember this is New York just before Mayor Lindsay and Frank Serpico and a huge police corruption scandal and clean up of the early '70s. I've thought for years that the police planted/promoted the "bystander" story as a distraction that still has life.

  3. Back in the early 1980's I participated in the setup of the 911 system for Southern California. It actually was fun. I had to pretend that I was extremely weak so I had to speak softly so they could attempt to hear me away from the phone. It's amazing how many years went by for 911 to become a national emergency number.

  4. Thanks for demonstrating that Kitty was a special person that made a difference in the lives of those who knew her in small and important ways. I was disgusted at the use of her name after her murder. During your video I kept thinking that it would be more apt to document and name her move to cut off bar patrons in a gracious way, as to make them thankful and appreciative after her in a servers guide. IMO that would be more fitting.

  5. Just an FYI, if this is something you fine men plan to continue to do for a while & decide to throw ‘TRIALS of the CENTURY’ on a hoodie.. I would absolutely purchase it.🙂 Thank you Runkle, Rob, and Scott for the great content!

  6. TV: I have a Radio Shack catalogue from 1962. They only show one TV. It was 'portable', their own Realistic brand, 19", weighed 35 lbs and cost $149.

I grew up in the NYC area (NJ) and was 20 at the time. I got a Psych degree in 1966 and this was discussed. Most people believed that New Yorkers were callous. But not that bad.

My sister-in-law grew up in Manhattan. I told her about this and am awaiting her opinion. But everyone was horrified as I recall.

  7. I can't remember being so happy to see an ad as when they popped up mid-stream (replay crew here). Congratulations on the hard work on your channel, Runkle, and cheers to Trial of the Century!

  8. I wish SCOTT would adopt Runkle’s and Rob’s sensitivity about the violence details, especially the violence against women details, and especially again the sexual violence against women details. PLEASE. It seems every episode, Runkle and Rob are gingerly trying to dodge some details that Scott then pipes up with and drops on us. He drops the R word like he doesn’t understand even hearing that word is disturbing for women. Does he understand this is our greatest daily fear? I’m also guessing at least half your audience is female. Just, enough already? I don’t know how else to say it. It seems Runkle and Rob get it, and Scott does not.
