It bothers me a bit that you make these claims about how much impact your culler has. You don't know that you're getting 3-4 times as much loot, you're just assuming that. I don't know, maybe you've been paying attention and taking note of the loot you used to get, maybe you're right. But personally I'm not doing any MFing and I've had these guys drop so many maps I struggled to loot them. They literally filled the entire screen with maps, without any MF gear. I've also had one drop 6 exalts, another dropped 3 divines and a few 1-2 divines, still no MF gear.
And sure, they would probably have dropped even more if I had a MF culler. But I sincerely doubt they'd drop 3 times as many. I'm not even convinced they'd drop twice as many.
My point is I think we need some actual evidence about how much this culling business really impacts loot.
I read all the rage on reddit, but I've actually been having a lot of fun playing SSFHC. I haven't put this much time into a league in a while and still have the desire to keep improving my character and progressing. I'm sure some stuff isn't perfect, but I'm still killing mobs and still picking up loot that they drop – so I'm enjoying myself. If you want to play PoE, don't let the negativity dictate your gameplay. And If you don't want to play, no sweat – take a break. Thanks for reading my TED talk
ye ive been skipping the league mechanic as a whole. I do get there is some crazy shit u can do with reflecting and u can get the unique ring but thats about it outside of that it just seems more efficient to do other content.
Omg this MFculling is the dumbest thing. No casual player can be expected to put up with that, so every casual player is stuck with terrible loot. And that means you can't just casually play this game and really have fun. Way to ruin the game for the vast majority of players. So sad.

the loot goblin shit has literally made me uninstall the game for the first time in like 7 years. I just can't play the game anymore, reverting the currency and loot nerfs would be the only way in my opinion. Still gonna watch lighty tho, content is the best!
I think it was the MF culling that broke me this league. I can deal with the reduced drop rates, I can deal with the increased difficulty from the AN rares, I can even deal with the trash league mechanic.
I can't deal with the MF Culling. I'm not leveling up a separate character just to get my loot. I don't want to phone a friend so they can come in and kill my mobs and tax my loot. I just want to play the game.

Honestly, my drops look exactly like your culled drops without using a culler. I think you're heavily overexaggerating. The combination of Archnemesis mods is what makes a big difference, somehow most people seem to ignore or not know that.
Scourge monsters and especially Bosses look is awesome.

Lighty, I am and have been always grateful to watch you play and enjoy Path. Unfortunately the past year has been mostly me enjoying watching you enjoy, and for myself finding little of redemption in the game. I'm afraid the game has been functionally shelved by the Devs in lieu of POE 2 and it's just not getting the attention it needs to continue success as it has years past. We're currently in the midst of the largest and longest series of bad leagues in POE history. Never has there been back to back "non core" leagues. We're going into #4 in a row now.

I was just wondering, about the loot you got from culling your mobs. I received around the same amount of loot, noit having a dedicated culler, and then it hits me …. I use seance and unrelented torment, which is a massive MF boost in rarity and quantity
