There are no days off or breaks. In one of the stabilization points on the front line in the Donetsk region, military doctors are on duty around the clock. They bring wounded Ukrainian defenders from the battlefield. Despite the shelling, the task of the personnel is to βpull Ukrainian fighters out of the clutches of deathβ and transfer them further β to hospitals. The Hospitaller Units bring wounded soldiers to stabilization centers, often from very close to the front lines. Hospitallers are unpaid volunteers.
The people who are in the Hospitallers teach basic field medical procedures so those doctors have much less work.
The two systems are doing amazing things in the middle of a very brutal war.

Thank you for this coverage! I know people enjoy seeing Orcs destroyed but more of the hard work of the frontline medical responders is needed to show that war is no joke and people on both sides get hurt!
These medics and their support staff and most importantly the ambulance drivers who pick up these guys from the front have my utmost respect for what that is worth!
