  1. Great video my guy. Delving into ages past to find real treasure. The nostalgia trip this video alone gave was awesome. I will admit I like long videos, 30 to an hour, but this was a fantastic video. I hope you keep making these funny and informative videos.

  2. I kid you not. As a child I played this up to the giant serpent in the sunken ship and quit instantly. I was terrified. Looking back now it's hilarious, but seeing the ship still makes my chest tight

  3. The first thing that really scared me as a kid was the Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy level in Yoshi's Island.

I cannot explain to you why it terrified me. The sound and the visual combined to just spooked me so much that I super carefully tip-toed through the level and never went back for years.

  4. Thank you for the great video, my boney friend!
As early '00 kid I've skipped PlayStation 1 entirely, going from dirt cheap NES and Sega Mega Drive clones (Because for long time there was nothing else in Russia that average family can afford) to somewhat decent PC, so it's very interesting to watch videos about early 3D hidden gems.

  5. My first fear in a Video Game was Majoras Mask. The entire experience made me actually fear my decisions made EVERY time and second I had. This was during the time I barely knew HOW to play games so as the days went by and I saw the moon get closer….I was done for…

  7. one of your strongest vids yet imo, happy halloween! definitely relate to the ocean phobia lol. everything is a jumpscare. i watched my dad play doom as a kid and that scared me less than than going underwater in games. weird how this stuff works.

  8. 1) I always figured that working at a strip club might be a tough gig for a skeleton, since there's literally nothing left to the imagination to start with, but you have shown me that it's possible to reveal a second, smaller skeleton under the first one, and I'm quite sure there are folks that will pay to see that; your educational content continues to awe and impress.

    2) Was convinced that the wish in the end was going to be for a pizza and Death Note on DVD, though I suppose that technically would have been two wishes.

    3) Once again, I barely ever heard of this game before now and have no intention of ever playing it myself, but I still had a blast watching this video. Keep up the great work, and enjoy spooky season.

  9. As kids, we become afraid of the most illogical things. I was 9 or 10 when I got the N64 and I remember having Mario 64 and Turok. Turok had nothing in it that ever gave me nightmares, but Super Mario 64 had the Giant Eel in the water levels, and that thing unnerved me to no end!! Even today, that thing looks unsettling to me. . . I can't comfortably go out onto the deep sea to this day. 😅

  10. Insane video my bro. I played the game as a kid and never got far, probably only 50% of the game, was too hard (and spooky) for me. But the production value of this video was insane, i loved the MGS memes. Next time, add more JoJo pls 😀

  11. I too used to live on demo discs, I got them from "I can't remember" magazine and was really confused and sad when they just stopped doing them.

Also, respect for still playing this after your panic to the deep open water level.
A simple concept that has given me nightmares is the Doppler effect, or even things just going from very quiet then slowly to very loud.
Pretty odd when a nightmare is a old timey telephone ringing louder and louder from far away and that's literally it.
