Would you believe me if I said the first time I was scared by a video game was in Terraria, summoning skeleton and thinking my game got cursed I deleted it and didn’t play it for 4 years
Resident evil 4 scared me back on GameCube honestly or playing silent hill origins burning house scene had me going
The funny thing with the controls is, its unironically easier if you have managed to finish AC1
Great video my guy. Delving into ages past to find real treasure. The nostalgia trip this video alone gave was awesome. I will admit I like long videos, 30 to an hour, but this was a fantastic video. I hope you keep making these funny and informative videos.
Happy Halloween Big Skel
Toriel in a scuba mask is a wonderful mental image. Thank you!
Thank you for properly calling them venomous, and not poisonous. That's one of my pet peeves.
I kid you not. As a child I played this up to the giant serpent in the sunken ship and quit instantly. I was terrified. Looking back now it's hilarious, but seeing the ship still makes my chest tight
Neat!
16:00 did my man just buy or die he just ran a quarter of a mile
The first thing that really scared me as a kid was the Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy level in Yoshi's Island.
I cannot explain to you why it terrified me. The sound and the visual combined to just spooked me so much that I super carefully tip-toed through the level and never went back for years.
Croc?
I see you are a skeleman of culture!
You should open a backloggd account and link your video there (no need to right a review, just some lines).
Under appricated games there usually don't have as much reviews, this would help.
probably my favorite vid of yours skelly, thanks for introducing many folks to a neat obscure game
Thank you for the great video, my boney friend!
As early '00 kid I've skipped PlayStation 1 entirely, going from dirt cheap NES and Sega Mega Drive clones (Because for long time there was nothing else in Russia that average family can afford) to somewhat decent PC, so it's very interesting to watch videos about early 3D hidden gems.
Fantastic video on a fantastic game!
My first fear in a Video Game was Majoras Mask. The entire experience made me actually fear my decisions made EVERY time and second I had. This was during the time I barely knew HOW to play games so as the days went by and I saw the moon get closer….I was done for…
If they gonna make Iron Lung 2, they should copy this game but more scarier and freakier maybe
I remember miss rubys level in sly cooper one scared me so much lol, honestly even theses days when i replay it some stuff still spooks me
Great to see you cover this hidden gem, I listen to the ost all the time!
idk why tf youtube algorithme send me a youtube chanel of sans but here we go
tommy talarico jumpscare
Right when subnautica 2 got announced lmao
My favorite game btw, love seeing the skeleton play it
German skeleton into Rayman 2 OST. Love it
Never knew A Skeleton was so damned big boned. Might explain why he's afraid of the deep. Let's hope he stays on dry land enough to keep up the great vids.
Rhyming video title? Immediate sub.
I envy you. I cant get scared by media any more for decades.
Even nightmares dont work any more.
Wait bodytype. taste in games. age they got a PS….
GODDAMNIT…did successfully become a lich in the future and then time travel?
…yhh not that I have plans for such things. >.>
Joking aside awesome. Never hear anyone talk about this game. I still have my copy.
My first scare from games was from Powerslave
Those disappearing and reappearing enemies with the lioness head
one of your strongest vids yet imo, happy halloween! definitely relate to the ocean phobia lol. everything is a jumpscare. i watched my dad play doom as a kid and that scared me less than than going underwater in games. weird how this stuff works.
My first video game scare, ocarina of time. Those damn giant hands dropping down, paired with the atmosphere of the forest temple ost. Fear pure and true.
1) I always figured that working at a strip club might be a tough gig for a skeleton, since there's literally nothing left to the imagination to start with, but you have shown me that it's possible to reveal a second, smaller skeleton under the first one, and I'm quite sure there are folks that will pay to see that; your educational content continues to awe and impress.
2) Was convinced that the wish in the end was going to be for a pizza and Death Note on DVD, though I suppose that technically would have been two wishes.
3) Once again, I barely ever heard of this game before now and have no intention of ever playing it myself, but I still had a blast watching this video. Keep up the great work, and enjoy spooky season.
As kids, we become afraid of the most illogical things. I was 9 or 10 when I got the N64 and I remember having Mario 64 and Turok. Turok had nothing in it that ever gave me nightmares, but Super Mario 64 had the Giant Eel in the water levels, and that thing unnerved me to no end!! Even today, that thing looks unsettling to me. . . I can't comfortably go out onto the deep sea to this day. 😅
to make me watch about a game i never knew , only A skeleton could, great video
Insane video my bro. I played the game as a kid and never got far, probably only 50% of the game, was too hard (and spooky) for me. But the production value of this video was insane, i loved the MGS memes. Next time, add more JoJo pls 😀
I too used to live on demo discs, I got them from "I can't remember" magazine and was really confused and sad when they just stopped doing them.
Also, respect for still playing this after your panic to the deep open water level.
A simple concept that has given me nightmares is the Doppler effect, or even things just going from very quiet then slowly to very loud.
Pretty odd when a nightmare is a old timey telephone ringing louder and louder from far away and that's literally it.
Would you say that Subnautica does this scary feeling well as well, or is it a cheap feeling since it has a lot of jumpscare-y moments? Good vid as always skelebro
Remember when we thought he was gonna be playing subnautica? Yeah maybe that’s a bit too advanced for him considering how he took this game 😭
Bro I thought this was Million Subs channel, Gawd Dayum the Effort, And This was sooo fun to watch. and the Personality leading it all is immaculate. Thank you sir for making such a fun video, this will be going in my Top Favourite videos of October 2024
The chair creaking at 20:10 sent me
sure I can give you a comment here you go
Wait… The PSX 007 games were great. I still have Tomorrow Never Dies and maybe the others, reclaimed years later. They arent Goldeneye, nor in that style really, but more like the movies iirc.
That dark level with the whales had the exact same effect on me as a kid.
This game gave me a fear of the ocean, and Sky Odyssey gave me a fear of ancient caverns with planes in them.
tommy tallarico?? god..
I was a gamecube kid so I really missed out on demo discs, so hearinh about the experiences gotten from them is always fun to hear.
Thanks for making the video man, always love seeing your stuff.
I liked, so uh.. here’s a comment
You are quite the great youtuber and deserve more people at you channel tbh
I knew we talking about the spook deep and all, but it seems like someone is ready for the Croc remake. YAZOOOOOOOOO!
3:23 hey, watch what you say about tommy. He was the first american ever and his mom is very proud of him.
