Come with us as we travel back to Oahu Hawaii to stay at Disney’s Aulani resort and spa, but before we get there we make a few stops along the way, including trying the best Manapuas on the island and an Aulani hack you’re not going to want to miss. And AMA AMA, the resorts signature restaurant has recently reopened, so we are going to try it for the first time ever. It has a new $125 four course fine dining menu — is it worth that price tag or is it too gourmet for us?

Waipahu is my home town!
So excited for your trip series! I could smell the Hawaiian air as soon as you stepped outside the airport!
So cool you went back! I just went last month and watched all the videos for tips! Thanks
Welcome BACK! 🤙 No foget now, chili pepper water is not for0 drinking!
To everyone: it is called ALOHA shirts and Aloha Wear, not Hawaiian Shirts… just wanted to make you visitors know 🤙
Had to laugh when you said Ko Olina was the most beautiful place. Ko Olina was a barren kiawe waste land when I was a kid. Basically all where simba wouldn’t be allowed to play.😂
Love the vlog guys 🙌 Aulani is in the bucket list. Thanks for sharing x
Glad you guys are back in Hawaii! You get to show us things that most of us will not be able to see or do so it's much appreciated and congrats on 300k subs! 👏
By the way, macadamia nuts are actually native to Australia not to Hawaii. There was a time there that Hawaii was the highest producer of them but it always changes due to weather conditions. Only a few years ago Australia was the highest producer of them at 46% but because the last few years we've had way too many natural disasters like the 2019 Black Summer bush fires to the floods taking over the last two years (currently many towns in NSW are cleaning up from flash flooding two days ago) we haven't been able to grow as much so South Africa funnily enough is the world's largest macadamia nut producer now. Aus is at about 20% and S Africa at 40%. They grow well in subtropical climates.
Macadamia nuts were introduced to Hawaii in the 1880's for the bush to protect sugarcane as a windbreak! And when they were first found here in Australia in 1828 by English settlers, macadamias were originally called the 'Bauple Nut' after the town of Bauple in Queensland by the founder. They were then renamed as macadamia after a German-Australian botanist named them as such after his friend John Macadam, who was a noted scientist and was secretary of the Philosophical Institute of Australia in 1858.
And before the English naming of them they have over a dozen different names in the Indigenous Australian community and have always been a popular 'bush tucker' or bush food source.
Congratulations on 300k! Your channel is growing because you two are so awesome together. The video quality and editing is A++.
Peter never sell yourself short my man. I'm sure fancy food is your thing just this food isn't your thing. They have raw venison at some ov the simplest places on earth to be sure. I say if it's something you don't like you should give it a rating because we still base our opinion on yours. Glad you tried it but you shoulda given it a half Peter or no Peter's lol. Maybe a sad face Peter can be the rating for foods like that.
Oh my gosh. You totally got me with the Gizmo edition Manapua. So funny. 😂
It's the experience, like Victoria and Albert, I don't think I would pay that much for such small portions. No doubt the restaurant was beautiful, the sunset wow, service, entertainment and presentation was amazing. But you two looked like you enjoyed it and being together and happy, that is what matters. So sorry for your Mothers passing….♥️
What a great video! excited to see the rest of your advantages! I do have a question: what camera did you use for the shoot when you walked out to the porch?
Hi Peter and Kitra. I'm a new Patreon subscriber. Wow, loved this video! Aulani looks so amazing and my wife and I hope to go there someday. A big congratulations on 300K subscribers. All the best to you both. Your videos are so fun and inspirational and I look forward to them each week.
My dad passed away 4 years ago around this time and I feel for you! They are always in our heart and your mom is there with you! ❤
300K 🎉🎉🎉
I'm on kitras side, MOVE TO HAWAII!!!! I've been thinking about trying to take that trip for a long time, you guys have thoroughly convinced me to start planning it.
Kitra ,Your editing skills + music selection = A+++++ Love it!!!!!
So jelly!
It’s EEA@O 1.5 ? Kitra in a waking sleep @ 7am has a nihilistic breakfast 🥯, puts on the Bluetooth headset she found in a junk drawer after seeing the movie in an attempt to get to the 🦝 iverse & wakes up vibrant and full of life in the alternate universe known as Ko’Olina 🤷♂️.
You guys famous on Oahu especially when you guys went rainbow 🌈 drive inn and had some Hawaiian chili pepper water! Classic Aloha hope you guys and an another awesome time. And about that moving here so what you guys moving? Would be nice to have you guys here.
Aaah I wish I knew you were here! I could’ve gave you suggestions or help you get around the island!
That was a mongoose they was brought here to Hawaii back in the old days to kill the rats.
Bummer they switched to a set menu. I ate there years ago and it was amazing.
Hawaii is suffering from staff shortages all over the island.
God bless your heart sorry for your lost. Hawaii is always your home. Beautiful memories
I’m pretty sure all sunscreen sold in Hawaii is required to be “reef safe” now. The problem is, sunscreens were never damaging for coral reef. The dubious claim spread like wild fire and our state government decided to enact a law about it for brownie points without consulting coral reef experts instead of doing something actually nice for our coral reef .-.
Aloha! Welcome back to Oahu! We booked to go to the Aulani in January as our Christmas gift to the kids. we are so excited to tell them.
I really need to learn how to vlog. I arrived in Hawaii the day before you did. Even left out of gate 54A in LA just like you. Close but yet so far. I was there 10 days (2 days added cause of hurricane Nicole, darn).. My trip was great but very different from yours! I got hints too! haha.
Hugs
Omg I used to work for United Airlines for almost 17yrs and have been to Oahu 5 times. It was always so relaxing for me. I so enjoyed your video. Thanks for the reminder of Hawaii ❣️
We ate at Ama Ama mid October and thought it was great. The food quality, and service was excellent. The wine pairing price was reasonable and the server explained each wine. That ube old fashion was a definite five stars. As far as the price, it is not cheap but for the resort area it is equivalent to the Four Seasons prices next door. We had dinner at Mina’s Fish House next door and spent about the same amount but was less impressive than Ama Ama. We really enjoyed this video and your willingness to try things outside your comfort zone. Thank you.
